This is India's oldest business school among all the IIMs. The college has hostels, lakes, academic blocks & infrastructure is top notch, at per international standards. The college is has total 7 lakes. The facilities are very well maintained and international students also come to study here.

Academics of IIM CALCUTTA is one of the very best in this country. The professors are PhD from different eminent colleges & very experienced. Courses are designed according to industry need & that helps the students as a management trainee in market.

No need to say that how good IIM CALCUTTA is terms of placements. Right now, best performing IIM as far as the figures are concerned. Finance is the top most domain here & in all other domain placements is also very impressive.

The infrastructure is superb . It is a complete value for money, that feeling is very very superior . It being the oldest doesnt let us feel that even for the second .It is truly said that old is gold.

Academics of iim calcutta is very rigour .You are always occupied with something or the other.They never let u sit , u must be engaged in some of the activities always.They teach us a lot and it is gonna help us when we will enter the corporate world.

They have a record of 100% placement and i consider myself being a part of this college. Also many good companies come to campus and they spend a lot of time in our cv building . I have gooten a great opportunity being a part of such great placement drive of iim calcutta.

It is very nice.The campus is beautiful

Academic block is well maintained, with centralised air conditioning. Has a mic and speaker for teacher to be clearly audible to students. There exist multiple chill-out spots for students, most loved one being the Jetty. There is a separate 3-star accommodation to cater to dignitaries, and parents visiting students.

A-rated faculty, with focus on industry based learning. Case solving in classes with peers offers a strong learning advantage via multiple perspectives offered by people across various industries and career paths.

Almost all top companies visit the campus and hire in strong numbers. Average package offered is ~25LPA. Placement is rigorous but offers equal returns for the students. The most prominent industries are Consulting, IT and General Management.

Cost - 23.5LPA for two years. This is worth considering the brand value of IIM Calcutta, as one of the top 3 MBA institutes in the country.

Great experience. Parties are crazy LITT. There's a good male:female ratio, and co-ed hostels. You'll have one of the best days and the craziest parties you've ever known here. Alcohol flows, and people here do know how to throw a party!

One of the hostel has great infrastructure, but the old hostels have really poor infrastructure. The academic block is really good. Wifi is really poor, however LAN is good with intermittent disturbances.

Amazing professors with great knowledge. Quality of training is also top notch. Most of the subjects are case based, real life cases which is thoroughly analysed in the class. The rigour makes you ready for the corporate.

Great placements, at par with the best colleges. All the big name companies including best consulting firms MBB, big 4 and top investment banks like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan visit the campus. Ensures 100% placements.

High fees, but worth it looking at the placements and quality of education. Also, one of the very important parameter is the alumni network that we get access to, which is of immense help after graduating.

Scenic campus, with great sports culture and other extracurricular opportunities. Lots of opportunities other than just academics. You can pursue your hobbies, hone your skills and also get involved in several clubs to get a holistic experience.

Due to COVID we haven't really used much of the infrastructure yet, as we've been having online classes. However, the hostels and mess can be upgraded to have better facilities, in my opinion, as they are pretty outdated.

The professors are very knowledgeable and have good idea about the subject matter. There have been some hiccups due to the online mode of teaching but the professors have been very patient and approachable with all our doubts.

The placements have had an amazing track record over time, even after COVID hit. Our batch had a good summer placements and then our seniors batch was also 100% placed with good packages so that is a good thing

I feel the tuition fees of 23 lakhs per annum are a bit exorbitant considering we haven't even had the complete MBA experience and everything has been online so far. We haven't even seen the classrooms yet.

Campus life in a normal year would've been great, but given COVID it has been pretty restrictive and not up to the normal levels. That said, the campus itself is very beautiful and definitely great to live in.

College infrastructure is beautiful but old however you will get all the facilities there from wifi to 24x7 libraries, beautiful hostels, plenty of labs ,good food everything is available inside the campus

I had done executive MBA from there these are the best days of my life teacher are like your guardians, they will support and help you everytime, curriculum is best and adopts change regularly and makes us job ready

Ample of chances to select your favourite company and sit for their recruitment test, almost all of the students got placed, highest salary varies from 7 lakh per annum and maximum 14-18 lakhs per annum
