Yes. With 2 years of work experience, you are eligible to target the regular 2-year MBA at IIM Calcutta as long as you have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Work experience is not required for eligibility.

Which exam do you need?

For the regular IIM Calcutta MBA, you need to take CAT (Common Admission Test). CAT 2026 is scheduled for 29 November 2026, with registration running from 3 August to 15 September 2026.

The CAT has three sections:

1. VARC – Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
2. DILR – Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
3. QA – Quantitative Ability
