Hello,

As per UGC norms you can pursue two degree courses simultaneously however one is to be done through distance mode and another through regular mode, now integrated law course cannot be done through distance mode as it's not recognized by bar council of India, hence you have to opt for it in regular mode, however I want to say that BA-LLB as a program in itself is an amalgamation of arts discipline that with law, so there is no need to pursue BA differently even through distance mode, the rest is up to you.

Dear aspirant,

Reservation is available is about 10 percent of seats will be reserved for candidates from the EWS. The Competent Authority will fill these seats through CAP as stated from time to time by the Government's policies.

Hopefully this will help you.

hello Aspirant,

To be honest a rank that is above 1,00,000 in KCET exam can be treated as a low score . With this low rank you may not get the branch you want but there are some colleges which accepts the rank above 1lakh so you can try for that colleges. If you got some reservation you may also get some better college than the below mentioned.

Based on 2020 data some colleges which accepts above 1 lakh KCET rank are mentioned below :-

  1. Govt. Engineering college Hassan - Civil Engineering
  2. CMR University Chalagatti, Bengaluru - Information Technology
  3. GITAM school of Engineering  - Computer Science
  4. East-west college of Engineering , Bengaluru - Aeronautical Engineering
  5. Presidency University Bengaluru - Electronics Engineering
  6. Reva universty bengaluru -Civil And Electrical
  7. Govt. Engineering college Karwar. -Civil Engineering

Hell Aspirant,

Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan was established as a joint venture of  Government of India, Government of Karnataka and the Malnad Technical Education Society, in the year 1960, during the second 5-year plan. The college is spread over 41.28 acres of land. Earlier the college was affiliated to the University of Mysore but later on, it got affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

For your question answer is yes, you will get this college for your CET rank but you will not get seat in Computer science and information science  because the cut-off is closed around 50k-60k. So you can try for other branches which are mentioned below .

The mentioned below branches have cut-off higher than 1lkah so you will get these branches in Malnad college easily :-

  • Instrumental Engineering
  • Industrial and production Engineering
  • Automobile Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Hello aspirant ,

Though you have written biology in Kcet it would not effect your engineering rank

Biology is written if you want to pursue veterinary courses , BDS, MBBS etc thus there would not be any problem with your engineering rank

Hope this helps and good luck

Hi Thejashree. I guess you are doing well in this current situation of pandemic.

And just by looking at the marks obtained in CET we cannot get the exact rank, as the ranking depends upon the marks of second PU and CET score. But we can roughly predict your rank based on the precious year ranks. So you can just go through the link given below to find out your CET predicted rank

I hope this helps you.

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you want to get a seat in ec/cs and taking into consideration that you have secured a rank of 1L so let me tell you that as per my knowledge the cut off for cmr is way higher than your rank.
