Every state has CET, if you are pointing to Maharashtra CET then since introduction of NEET they have not made it compulsory, meaning you can choose one of it depending on what you want to pursue as it is mainly for engineering ,pharmacy and agriculture courses.

The online form

CET Exam consists of two groups PCM(Physics, chemistry, mathematics) and PCB(Physics, Chemistry, Biology).It is an online exam with no negative marking, consists of Multiple choice questions.For medical stream you can only opt PCB for CET Exam,there is no necessity that you have to write mathematics exam.
