Yes you can try that but there's obviously enough of differences between the two examinations. So you need to study a bit extra and even more for CET too while preparing for CAT examination. CAT exam will get you admission into MBA courses.

As JEE-Main is the national level entrance examination and SBC (Special Backward Class) comes under the state reservation of some states. So if you want to apply for JEE-Main then you have to fill your reservation category as OBC and the same certificate will be required to upload.
