MHT CET 2020 which was scheduled from April 13 to 23, 2020 has been postponed due to outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic till furthur notice. Till now new dates has not been announced yet. You can visit their official website www.mahacet.org for regular updates.

AME CET is an entrance test conducted for admissions in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses offered in some of the leading institutes approved by Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India. Also, Meritorious candidates are awarded the scholarship on the basis of their AME CET AIR. The scholarship is available for qualified students irrespective of their caste, gender and religion. It will be awarded as first semester tuition fee based on All India Rank of the student in AME CET 2020.

Courses offered on the basis of  AME CET are AME License ( DGCA), AME License (EASA), BE (AME), BSc (AME), BE/Btech (Aerospace Engineering), BE/BTech ( Aeronautical Engineering).

The exam pattern is such that there will be 15 questions from General Awareness and English, and 20 questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.There will be a total of 90 questions and total marks is 360.

The syllabus for General awareness includes Static GK, Science, Books and Authors, Current Affairs and Portfolios.The syllabus for English includes Reading Comprehension, Fill in the blanks, Spellings, Phrases and idioms,Synonyms and Antonyms, One word Substitution, sentence Correction.The syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics include class 12 topics.

There are only 2 Universities out there accepting AMECET score. They are:

JNTUK - Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada

ACAA - Air Carnival Aviation Academy

If you consider private too then you will have various choices as there are more than 65 Colleges accepting AMECET.

But as you have asked for government only hence it's fine.

Central government started the reservation quota for Economically Weaker Section of General category. According to this quota every authorized institution in India will reserve some seats for EWS candidates.

Cut-offs are also slightly less in comparison to General category. MH Law CET also accepts EWS certificate.
