Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hi,
The cut-off for general category students is 50% whereas for other categories it is 45%. However, you need a good rank to secure a seat through KCET to a veterinary science course. According to previous years cut-offs, the rank for in-house students is closed around 1200.
So, If your rank comes less than 1200 there are high chances you can get your preferred course.
If you don't get a seat in 1st round you can try for all the 3 rounds . It will be even more easier if you have Any kind of reservation.

Hello Aspirant
Yes. You can continue working on your B. Tech degree by taking the CET and scoring well on it. IIT, NIT, and CFTI applicants must take the national entrance exam known as JEE Mains. To be eligible for admission to Karnataka engineering institutes, one need not take the KCET exam.

hello aspirant
NO, you will not get b.pharmacy with the same marks scored in last year in CET. As kea will consider marks of Pu board and kcet examination to give pharmacy ranking , you need to score well in board and kcet . If you have scored well in board examination and if you get more than 40 marks in each subject then you would get a good pharmacy college.
Further, please note that the KCET Cutoff keeps varying every year as it depends on various factors like Difficulty level of the question paper, previous year cutoff trends, Number of aspirants appearing, etc.
Further, to know more about the KCET cutoff for previous year, follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-cutoff
