Hi Rishi,
Truly speaking Electrical is best in Institute of Engineering and management although when coming placement companies most of the companies prefer IEM.
Companies such as Voltas, Bluestar, etc..
when coming to the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology both CSE and IT has good scope in this college. Coming to placements they provide few companies but most of the people get selected in the IT companies.
I hope it may help you.
hii raju,
at this rank, you can get CS at university institute of technology and heritage institute of technology e.t.c. but not at your concerned colleges.
GOOD LUCK...
Hello Sumit,
Look regarding IEM college, the opening and closing rank for CSE in 2017 were 364 and 2005 respectively. However, try to remember few things which are as follows
Try to keep a watch on counseling of the college of your choice, as each college has three to four round of counseling. Keep a check on a number of candidates they call for the first round of counseling. From there you can get an Idea whether you can get admission there or not. You can check these things on the official website of this college.
Try to read the reviews of other students as it will help you to know more about the college education system and placements. So try to keep your option open and apply for multiple colleges. There are a lot of colleges where you can apply based on your rank. You can check the following link

Hello Raju,
I am sorry to say but you wont be able to get any of these colleges with this rank in general category.
But you are eligible for many other govt colleges , So i suggest you to check our college predictor tool for your comfort. All the best.
Dear Swati,
Both Techno India and IEM are good colleges. But, I believe academically IEM fairs better. Also when it comes to ranking, IEM stood 1st among all private colleges and 3rd in West Bengal after IIT Kharagpur and NIT Durgapur in the National institution ranking framework (NIRF) organized by MHRD.
Hope I could address your concern.
Wishing you all the best
it does have moderately good facilities when compared to other colleges in kolkata (other than JU and IIEST shibpur as they are in a league of their own) but when compared to other top colleges (iem claims to be a top college), it falls short and it falls short by A LOT
One of the best infrastructure maintained with the equipment needed. Faculties are the best in business best in there field all are the rich in experience in there perticular field. Absolute clean and greeney.
It has modern classrooms, good labs, and a central library but limited space and several wifi and network issues. Infrastructure is decent but not so good. But they have ac which is good for this summer.
