Hi Sayantan! I have heard cases of ragging in this college in news. So according to me, yes there is ragging in this college but i think that if you be confident in yourself and ignorant then no one can do ragging with you anywhere.

It depends on the company to company. But I can give you an idea that the Average salary figure is approximately Rs. 3.5 Lakhs per annum and the highest Packages is approximately Rs. 11 lakh pa.

Whose campus placement is better among Jalpaiguri government engineering college and UEM, Rajarhat campus?

Out of Both the colleges mention the placements for UEM, Rajarhat campus is rated and ranked good as compared to the other one.

The average package for it is approx 4-5 lakhs.

College Infrastructure

The infrstructure was very poor and facilities were also not up to the mark and also the eqipment was bad. The classroom are quite decent enough and they libraries and a games room also but does not have Wifi.

Value for Money College with all required facilities

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is maintained modern. So many facilities are available for all students. Wifi speed is Excellent. Library filled with so many number of books. Hostel facilities are good, & now hostels are being renovated in a proper way. A LAN network is provided to the hostelers at no cost, & mess meals are provided twice. Along with that, every hostel has a different canteen. Sports are well Encouraged.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure in our department and also other departments is well. Labs are modernized with good facilities. Modern classrooms are available. There are a lot of books in our library. Four hostels for boys and one hostel for girls are available in our college. There are lots of opportunities for sports and games like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc.
