sorry to say at this score it is not possible to get jadavpur university even for your category. howver you may have chances in other government colleges of west bengal like purulia, murshidabad, engineering and leather technology college kolkata etc. however every year cutoff changes.

It is difficult to get in government colleges. Do try in colleges like techno India , BP poddar , Netaji Subhash engineering college , heritage , iem and other top private colleges in West Bengal. Try to go to these colleges and find out what's the procedure since often seats

The location is really preferable for KGEC, as you can get easiness from transport to all other regular needs. Jalpaiguri has a pleasant weather; but where as Kalyani has a warm weather.The campus area of JGEC is 167 acres whereas KGEC only comprises of 75 acres area
