Hi there.

You are eligible as you passed the eligibility criteria. But for any government college you need percentile more than 95 percentile.

And rank under 15k to get a decent chance for counseling. So with this rank , you won't get any iit or niit .

Also you can check your college prediction by the link below :-

Hi aspirant

Thanks for asking your query, as per Percentile you may get nit college but your percentage in intermediate you may not get admission in nit because minimum criteria for admission in nit is 75 percentage in 12th.Till now Jee has not released cutoff for different NITs and iiit. Therefore I would suggest you to wait for it.

Hope this may help you

yes definetly you can get a seat in nit. there is no vcut off marks for jee mains paper 2 . it depends on the number of students appearing for the exam, the level of the examination. thus you may not get NIT karnataka or kerela but you can get a seta in durgapur, sikkim, mizoram etc in architecture. all the best....

Hey Rashmi.
See the marks u have scored in the JEE mains is just a bit low for u to bag a seat in the good colleges like NITs IIITs or GFTIs for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under the btech courses as the cut off score is about 95%. U should be going for private colleges like LPU , MANIPAL , KIIT , VIT , etc. I m providing u a link for ur help.

Ask if any query. Good luck

Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to. But, With 73 percentile, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the any of the NIT's when comparing the results of previous years. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection

Good luck

Hello Pratik,
With a percentile of 91.87 in jee main the chances of getting admission in NIT are lower. You can get NIT in eastern side such as :
  • NIT Mizoram
  • NIT Arunachal Pradesh
  • NIT Manipur
  • NIT sikkim
You can get mid tier IIIT colleges with lower branches such as civil, mechanical and others. You can apply for colleges where jee main percentile is considered for admission such as BITS, MIIT, SCIT, Amity university, Thapar university and many others. You can also write various entrance test for colleges to get admission.

Hi tammineni,
I regret to say you that its difficult for you to get into any nits due to low score as nits are the most sought colleges of nits ther cutoff are really high and if I consider even a case that you are under home state category though you might get a seat in any of north east nits so either taking part in josaa councelling you should think for any other exam or any other reputed private institutes like srm or lpu or else at last take a year drop if you are determined enough to take admission into any nit or iits only .

Hope it helps!!!!

Nope samant. It is a clear cut information released by the government colleges like IIT and NIT every year that they won't allow the admission of the students having their boards marks less that 75%. So there is no chance to get any NIT.

Hello,
You have high chances of getting admission in this college based on your jee mains CRL rank, visit it's official website for more information.
Good luck.
