Hey
Congrats for such a wonderful percentile.
As per government colleges eligiblity criteria minimum requirement board percentage for general and obc are 75 percent.  As you have less percentage than that you won't be eligible for NIT irrespective of your percentile in JEE MAINS , whether you score a wonderful percentile but without the crossing the required board percentage it is worthless for admission in government colleges.

You can go for top private institutions like Thapar University or Jaypee Noida,  where you can get your desired branch.

Hope this solves your query.
Good Luck!!

All the best !

Hi Tanmay,

Since you are from the sc category, you have to score an overall aggregate of 65%+ in 12th board.

You have not fulfilled that criteria, so now you have to secure a place in top 20 percentile of your state board, then only you will be eligible for any NIT.

Hope this helps you.

All the best!!!

Hi Shruti,

I am sorry to tell you that you will not be eligible to take admission in any nit, iit or iiit because for these institutes the criteria is to score an overall aggregate of 75% in class 12th boards for general category and 65% for sc, st and obc category.

But, you can give improvement exam next year to achieve the criteria.

All the best!!!

Hello dear ,

According to your rank in jee mains 2019,you have no chance to get seat in any NIT in general category as your rank is very high.

Hi,
Sorry to inform you that you are eligible to get admission in NIT because your class 12 percentage must be 75%. If you are SC/ST category student then you must score 65% in your boards.

Hello Sourav,
You did not mention which of these sibjects was your sixth subject. Considering the best five subjects of yours,  I think that they are Maths 88, Physics 70, Chemistry 63, English 83 and Bengali 90 as your score in Biology is least and for admission in NITs or IITs, having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is a must. Well,  your score of best five subjects is 394/500. Your score must be in top 20 percentile of ISC boards in order to get admission in NITs and IITs. As of now, the top 20 percentile of ISC boards is not officially announced yet so it is difficult to predict that. But for an idea,  you can have a look at previous years' top 20 percentile of ISC boards. In 2018, top 20 percentile cutoff was 438/500. In 2017, top 20 percentile cutoff was 427/500 and in 2016, top 20 percentile was 443/500.
I wish you all the best. For any further queries, ask me in the comments.

Hello Aspirant
Your Jee score is pretty good . But your board percentage is low . If you are in cbse board then you are not elligible to get admission in nit because there is need of 75% marks .

If you are from other board then check for top 20 percentile of respective board . If you are in top 20 percentile then you are elligible .
Thanks

If general then not possible for NITs IIITs
For IITs JEE ADVANCED is needed which is on 27th May
And registration is closed

Well your disability percentage is decided by the authorized practioner which is further rectified by the practioner sent by the JoSAA (during your counseling).

So if he certifies you have more than 45% disability then you are eligible for not only reservation in NIT's but also IIIT's, GFTI's or any college you can think that admits through JoSAA.
