Hello there,

NSIT - Netaji Subhas University of Technology

DTU - Delhi Technological University

Two institution could be compared on the basis of certain parameters like campus, placement, faculty, hostel life etc. and as per your area of interest.

Look both DTU & NSIT are equally good in different fields.

DTU is much better in terms of infrastructure, and has core branches like electrical, mechanical, it also has Ac classrooms. Nsit classes do not have ACs, nsit has opened the mechanical branch 5 years back and only a few  batch has yet passed out .

Faculty is better in DTU ( again it depends on the branch), and  NSIT has better placement record for CS/IT with a median package of 11 Lpa whereas DTU has a median package of 9 Lpa.

Hey!

See, ranks are given to everyone by the score they attain. And, in jee the marks are given by categories also. Means, common rank list is the rank given to everyone irrespective of their categories, just on the basisof their score and if any candidate is from any reserved category then he or she gets rank on those basis also and the number of candidatesof same category appearing in the exam. So, in the same manner cutoff list is prepared and admission procedure takes place.

Candidates having category rank get seats on those basis if the college offers any category quota. Ex. If one of having around 1lakh CRL but is also having around 15k category rank so he or she will not get DTU with CRL but can get DTU with category rank.

College has to give a certain amount of quota for reserved categories such as minimum 15% for sc/st or anything.

Hope I answered your query

Thank you

Greetings Nitin!

You haven't mentioned the course for which you want to know fee structure for. However let me give you some examples according to the 2019 fee structure notification by DTU for B.tech course for 1st year it was 1,66,000 for second year it is 1,90,000 for third year it is 2,06,000 for fourth year it is 2,19,000. Please click this link to know about the fee structure in details yourself https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://dtu.ac.in/Web/notice/2019/jan/file0122.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwitkM-q3uzrAhVUeH0KHSDNDBIQFjAKegQIAhAB&usg=AOvVaw2vxQFUJDt1d5T_75Vt-h-g

As far as fee refunding is considered then it is mentioned on their official website that :- ' First-semester students who have commenced the first semester. Students who drop out of their studies before 1 November/1 April of their first semester at DTUhave the right to a refundof 50 per cent of their tuition fees, excl. bank charges, regardless of the reason for dropping out.'
