Infrastructure is good. The hostels are made with latest technology with radiant cooling and heating system. Academic infrastructure is also very good with all the necessaries to carry out teaching. Infrastructure in sports is not that great and can be improved. The college has a massive mess infrastructure
Pursuing MBA full time course. Faculties are reputed and possessing great knowledge and experience. The case based pedagogy gives opportunity to experience real world problems and find solutions to them.
The placements are usually good but due to pandemic and the overall economy shakedown, the placements have experienced a shock. But going forward, once the economy revives and there are more job opportunities, the placements will again pick up the pace to compete with the A class colleges
MBA fees per year( including mess and hostel charges) is around 8lac which way below than other private colleges and few IIMs as well. Value for money cannot be assessed in this particular year, as this was the pandemic struck year in which the quality of education and overall mba experience had taken a toll.
Campus life is happening with something or the other activity always on the roll. Be it studies, extracurricular, projects, sports or party, the campus never sleeps and the management factory is running 24×7 to deliver best experience to the future leaders
Overall, good experience
IIM Kashipur has all the required infrastructure that is necessary for academic and other student welfare activities, It boasts of a lush green campus, so everything is clean and the food is hygienic.
Faculties are decent; All of them have in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, with different teaching styles, which might suit some and not others. The curriculum is continuously updated as new subjects are added while some are removed every year, with respect to the changes in the demands of corporate world.
Placements are decent and are in line with the placement reports. The highest salary changes every year as new companies visit the campus for hiring every year. For detailed information go through the respective placement reports to know the kind of companies that visit IIM Kashipur for placements
When compared with other new IIMs, IIM Kashipur provides slightly better ROI. It costs around Rs 7.75 Lakhs per annum.
The campus boasts an area of 200 acres. Hostels are equipped with radiant heating/cooling, basic appliances, etc. Located in Kashipur, which is surrounded by forests, but there haven't been any intrusion by wild animals.
Decent college if you're not getting top 10 IIMs
Good infrastructure, centralised AC in classroom and hostels. Single rooms provide great privacy and have a good seating area, the mess is also very well maintained and has proper furniture. An amazing campus
At IIM Kashipur we have some of the professors of the country, they are all very skilled and have good exposure to industry and the recent standards. The material used in the classroom is very upto date and quiet very useful.

You get to witness greenery and a natural environment. The space around the campus is huge. One can always go around for fresh air. One can always have the benefit of natural habitat and food is hygienic.
The curriculum has the best subjects. I am studying MBA and it does include updated subjects with experiential and industry learning that helps in gain knowledge about the outside world. A study with general knowledge and regular update on what is happening in global parameters will definitely make you job-ready.
Due to pandemics, it has affected the companies and placement too. As the placement report is not out yet so can't comment on that but as far as I know, some good companies came into this situation also which is a great thing.
Nice infrastructure and facilities, lush green campus. The building was spacious and newly build with big hostel and rooms. The area in between the corridors was a getaway spot for students to sit and discuss about classes. The Wi-Fi was always available and many events were organised all throughout the year.
Nice curriculum with industry relevant subjects. The faculty and the teaching staff in general was exceptional with years of experience among them. The guest faculty would visit every other month from top companies globally. All students would get excited and prepared to attend such lectures. Many lectures were available in online formats and were circulated among the students too.
Quality of placements is good. The placements were rigorous. The companies on campus were Cognizant, airtel, EY, KPMG and other such players. The roles range from analyst to consultants in technology and non technical departments. All students were placed by the end of the programme, some with packages as high as 25 lacs.

Quality of placement is good. 85% student well placed 6 to 7lakh is average placement. No placement process is not easy you have to give gd and pi then you will get selected. Yes college is very supportive.
Hello Sridhar,
Greeting of the day !
To answer your question, YES you do have a chance. It solely depends on your profile, and your performance in the GD-PI rounds. Also good extra-curricular, and co-curricular activities would be a pro for the same.
Wish you Best of Luck !
Thank you.
Hello Param,
Hope you are doing well !
To answer your question, NO, work experience in not compulsory for MBA in Business Analytics from IIM Kashipur.
Though, having work experience would definitely help in your interview, and further ahead in your career, but it is definitely not compulsory.
Hope I answered your query. Please let me know in case of further queries.
Thank you.
Hello ,
I would suggest your brother to go for IIM( Indian Institute of Management ) Trichy(Tiruchirappalli ) as it is definitely a better IIM than IIM Kashipur as according to NIRF rankings IIM Trichy is at 17 where as IIM Kashipur is at 33 so you can see the huge difference , also IIM Kashipur is a very new IIM in comparison to Trichy .
Your brother should choose a better college than the one which is closer to home .The placement scenario of Trichy is much better than Kashipur .
Hope this helps.
