Dear Aspirant
We understand your concerns. However, the cut off marks and ranks vary every year depending upon certain criterias such as the number of students appearing, the total availability of seats, the difficulty levels of the question papers etc, so it might be tough to predict the exact marks required. For Pwd category specifically, the cut off marks of both JEE mains and JEE advanced go very low, compared to other categories. You need to qualify both of the exams firstly, and fall under the Pwd ranks, which are reserved seats in a course at an institute. If IIT Delhi has 2-3 seats reserved for Pwd category, you have to come before other category students to avail the seat.
Hope this helps!!!
IIT Delhi is a better one
Since it's one of the best institutions in the country.
It has all-round development course for an engineer.
And definitely a much bigger brand and placements
If you get good branches then go for IIT Delhi
But not for low branch like biotechnology
Also if you are very much interested in cs course then IIIT hyd offers good course and placements.
Hello Shweta,
You have a good rank and you can definitely get IIT Delhi for CIVIL as closing rank is around 530 you are safe.
Good Luck
Hello Gaurav,
As of today, in IITs and NITs too, there is no provision of lateral entry by any means. The only way a candidate or a student can get admission into any of the IITs is by appearing in JEE Advanced. There is no other way to do the bachelor degree from IITs apart from that.
Hello Abhijeet,
If you are confident of yourself, you should do whatever it takes to get whatever you want. Be it an interview for admission into an IIT or anything in life. Confidence is the key. Now coming back to your question, yes you don't have that bright chances of getting through, but trying never hurts. All the best.
Dear Sharanesh,
Both are top courses but vary greatly in their syllabus. Mathematics and Scientific Computing is based on solving practical engineering problems with the help of Scientific Computing. The course is growing in India and has an immense scope both inside and outside. The syllabus is also a bit heavy but interesting. On the other hand, electrical engineering in IIT Madras is an evergreen branch and also has immense scope. It all depends on your interest. So I reccomend you to refer the syllabi sheets for both the courses and take decision.
You won't get a good college through WBJEE.
Even, only three colleges are famous and good in West Bengal. For taking It its really hard to get a good college over there.
Jadavpur
NIT Durgapur
IIEST, Shivpur
Its not possible with this rank to seek admission in above mentioned colleges apart from these others are not that good to go with.
Hello Vishal,
Textile technology in IITD is not good as the name and fame of the institute. This branch is almost useless. Its very hard to get job after this and getting good marks is more difficult.
So it's advise for you that not to go for textile technology.
Good luck
IIT Delhi has one of the best infrastructure in comparison to all other engineering colleges. It has a large campus with modern technology with well equipped classrooms and hostels, high speed wifi and more..
Good infrastructure of the college . Everything is perfectly organised and placed.well designed and made according to the requirement of the university students and system. All the facilities like laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels.
This college doesn't screams luxury it whispers legacy. The building are functional, grounded in purpose, and evolve as students do. From cutting edge research labs to the newly built hostels with modern amenities, the infrastructure is constantly adapting to students needs.
