Dear Aspirant,
If you have scored 80 out of 200 in the MAH MBA CET 2025, your expected percentile is likely to be in the range of 60 to 70, depending on the overall performance of candidates and the difficulty level of the exam this year. Based on previous years’ trends, a score of around 120+ usually corresponds to a 95+ percentile, while scores between 100 and 110 typically fall in the 85 to 90 percentile range. Therefore, with 80 marks, you may not qualify for top colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, or PUMBA, but you can still explore admission opportunities in mid-level management institutes in Maharashtra. Some of the colleges you could consider include SIES College of Management Studies, Indira Institute of Management Pune, MET Mumbai, Chetana’s Institute of Management and Research, and IES Management College. Your chances may also vary based on your category and whether you are applying under the Home University (HU), Other University (OHU), or All India (AI) quota.

Hii,
With a 60 percentile in MHT CET, it might be tough to get into the top government engineering colleges in Maharashtra like COEP, VJTI, or PICT. But don’t worry—you can still target decent private or semi-government colleges. Some options could be Pillai College, D Y Patil College (Pune/Navi Mumbai), and Sinhgad College of Engineering.
You can also check institute-wise closing ranks here:

Apply broadly and look for branches that are less in demand if you're flexible.
All the best!
Hii,
You have a very good chance of getting admission into a decent BTech college in Maharashtra, especially if you’re open to private colleges or semi-government institutions.
Colleges like VIT Pune, PCCOE Pune, AISSMS, D Y Patil College of Engineering (Akurdi), and others often accept candidates in the 80–90 percentile range, depending on the branch. If you’re aiming for Computer Engineering, IT, or Electronics, the cutoffs might be tighter. But branches like Mechanical, Civil, or ENTC can be more accessible. Also, if you have a category benefit (OBC, SC, ST, EWS), your chances get even better. Make sure to participate in all the CAP counselling rounds and select your preferences wisely.

Thanks a lot and all the very best for your college journey!
Hello aspirant,
With 73 percentile in MHT CET and 76% in 12th CBSE, your academic background is quite decent for admission into PDKV (Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth) Nagpur, especially if you're aiming for agriculture or allied B.Sc programs.PDKV offers programs through the MAHA-Agri CET and MHT CET depending on the course. For B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering or B.Sc (Agri), they often consider MHT CET percentile combined with reservation and region-wise quotas. Since you're from CBSE and scored well, that gives an added edge too. You’ll need to apply through the Maharashtra CET portal, select PDKV and allied colleges in your preference list, and participate in the counselling rounds. The cutoff changes yearly, but for general category, it often stays around 75–80 percentile for core programs.
Make sure all your documents, especially domicile certificate, category proof (if applicable), and educational marksheets, are uploaded correctly.

Best wishes and thanks for the question!
Hello,
For MHT CET admission , the most appropriate merit to consider is the Home University Merit if you belong to the university area where the college is located.
Here’s a simple guide:
Home University Merit – For students from the same university region as the college (e.g., Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, etc.).
Other Than Home University (OHU) Merit – For students from a different university region within Maharashtra.
All India Merit – For students from outside Maharashtra or those applying through JEE Main.
So, check your domicile and the location of the college . If both are in the same university area, use Home University Merit.
Hope it helps !
According to previous year trends, people with ranks upto 500 are allotted a college in the first round.
With a common rank of 443 you fall well within this range. So you'll probably be allotted a seat in the forst round of counseling.
As you tagged college of engineering trivandrum so the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, is responsible for conducting the KEAM entrance examination and the subsequent Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) for admissions to engineering, architecture, pharmacy, medical, and other professional courses in Kerala.
The KEAM 2025 counselling process is currently underway.
The KEAM 2025 Phase 1 Provisional Allotment has already been released.
While the exact date for the second round allotment for CET has not yet been announced, KEAM releases the allotment list on the official website: cee.kerala.gov.in.
good afternoon with a 95.41 percentile in MHT CET, you’re in a strong position to target mid-to-upper tier engineering colleges in Maharashtra especially for branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electronics & Telecommunication. For Computer Science, IT, or AI/DS, you may need to aim slightly below the top-tier colleges.
Here’s a list of colleges where your percentile fits well for most branches:
Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) Pune
Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi Pune
Sinhgad College of Engineering, Vadgaon Pune
Indira College of Engineering & Management Pune
MET Bhujbal Knowledge City Nashik
JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering Tathawade, Pune
Modern College of Engineering Pune

Hi ,
For the MHT CET 2024 cutoff details for OPEN and OBC categories, especially in Pune engineering colleges, you’ll find that the closing ranks vary depending on the popularity and demand of each branch. Top colleges like COEP, PCCOE, and MIT-WPU usually have cutoffs below the 95 percentile for high-demand courses like Computer Science and IT, even in OBC.
Like OBC cutoffs in top Pune colleges may range from 93–96 percentile for CS, and 85–90 for branches like Mechanical or Civil. OPEN category cutoffs tend to be a bit higher. It's best to refer to the latest DTE Maharashtra CAP round cut-off lists.
Hope this helps you and best of luck,
