Hello Aspirant,
With a 98.14 percentile in KEAM 2025, your estimated state merit rank would likely fall between 2,500–4,000. This puts you well within the cutoff range for College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (CET TVM) for branches like ECE, EEE, ME, and CIVIL.
Here’s a comparison with 2024–25 cutoffs (General category, Kerala state merit):
You have excellent chances of securing a seat in Mechanical, Civil, EEE, or ECE at CET TVM.CSE might be slightly tough, as its closing rank is ~530, but if your rank is below ~1,000–1,500, it's still possible in later counselling rounds.
All the best for your KEAM counselling
MHT CET CAP round 2025 registration is expected to start in late June or early July 2025.

The cutoff for admission through MH Nursing CET depends on your category, score, and the college you are applying to.
For General category students, you need at least 50% marks in 12th standard (PCB group). For reserved category students like SC, ST, and OBC, 40% marks are needed. PwD candidates need at least 45%.
In recent years, top colleges like College of Nursing, Mumbai had very high cutoffs. For example, general category students needed to be in the top 30 ranks. For OBC, the cutoff was around rank 90. For SC it was around rank 200 and for ST it went up to rank 880.
In NEET-based nursing admissions, students in the general category usually needed ranks between 280 and 720 to get good government nursing colleges.
To get admission in B.Pharmacy through MHT-CET in Maharashtra, you need to score at least 45% marks. This is around 30 to 40 percentile for general category students. For reserved category students, 40% marks (around 25 to 35 percentile) is enough to be eligible.
But just being eligible does not guarantee admission. To get a seat in a good college, you should aim for a higher score. If you get 60 to 80 percentile, you have a better chance to get into a decent B.Pharm college. If your score is above 85 percentile, you can get admission in top colleges.

Good afternoon
To help you accurately, I need to know which CET you're referring to, as "CET" is used for multiple exams in India. Please clarify.
Hello,
With a rank of 6200 in NMIMS-CET , you have a good chance of getting into the B.Tech programs offered at the Shirpur campus .
For the Mumbai campus , it might be challenging to get Computer Science or related specialized branches but you could have a chance with other branches like Mechatronics, or potentially through upgradation after the initial rounds.
You can check the specific cutoff trends for different branches at the Shirpur campus on the NMIMS website https://ncet.nmims.edu/
You can consult Careers360 to get a clearer picture of branch-wise cutoffs from previous years and understand the admission trends.
Thank you!!
Hi Aryan,
You have got decent grades in both 12th grade and MHT CET as well. As per the official eligibility criteria for PDKV, you need to have scored 50% or higher in 12th grade and your MHT CET marks also appears sufficient, this is in respect to B.Tech.
Other courses also have similar requirements and most likely you will get admission in PDKV.
ALL THE BEST !
With 58.89 percentile in MHT CET and 42 percentile in JEE Mains, it will be very difficult to get admission into top engineering colleges in Pune or Mumbai for Computer Science, AI, or IT branches, even if you are from OBC-NCL and under Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Most good colleges like PCCOE, MMCOE, and Sinhgad College close admission for CSE and IT around 85 to 95 percentile. Your percentile is too low for these competitive branches in top colleges.
However, you might still get admission in other branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical in some engineering colleges in Pune or Mumbai where the cutoff is a bit lower. Some lesser-known or Tier-2 colleges may also give admission in IT or CSE with your percentile.
With 42 percentile in JEE Mains, your rank is around 2.5 to 4.5 lakh, so getting NITs or IIITs is not possible. But private colleges in Maharashtra may consider your JEE score under their quota.
Since you belong to the OBC-NCL category and are from Pune University region, you may get some advantage during state counseling.
