Hey Himanshu
I am assuming you are talking about KCET and are from general category with a domicile of Karntaka. If my assumptions are corrent then with your rank you can get a seat in NIE Institute of technology in CSE,ECE,EEE,Information Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. You can also get other pretty good colleges like Dr Ambedkar etc. You can check the full list at https://www.careers360.com/kcet-college-predictor
Hey!
It's never late to start. Also, you can attempt upsc from 21-32 years (age limit). If you start now, and doesn't succeed, don't worry keep working on your skills, knowledge, never give up and in next years you will crack that. Keep reading some real life motivational stories or watch motivational videos, this will give you confidence. And, as you said you are scared about exams such as cet, keep calm and remember that from the age of 6,you are giving exams every year and there is nothing new now in exams. Keep practicing, this will help you.

Dear Student,
Here I am giving you previous year closing ranks as per the streams for round one counselling.
Thank You.
The CET score doesn't tell you much. It just tells you how well you scored in the test. But that's not what the colleges require. What colleges ask for is your CET rank, which basically tells them how well you performed amongst others. You are given a rank based on the combined score of the CET test and board marks (equal weightage). So just a good score in CET is not sufficient. Your board marks also count. Moreover the difficulty of the CET paper and quality of students who write the exam differ each year. The board marks differ from student to student. So you can't generalise a good score. It's different for different students
Hello student. Income certificate is the proof that how much the annual income of the head or person of the family. It should be an updated one. But, in the new one which you are going to submit during counselling, if there is no much of a difference between the old and new income, then it wont be a problem. But if there is a higher difference, that is income increased or decreased in lakhs, then you are supposed to contact the administrative department.
Getting a seat in government college with this rank is very difficult as the cutoffs of government colleges are very high but you may get a seat in some private college but getting cse could be a problem for you as the chances are little rough else you might have to compromise with your choice of college so wait for counseling process till then you can predict what colleges you might get with this rank with the help of KCET college predictor and can also check previous years cutoffs of different colleges for different branches.
you can check yourself by going through this link.

Hey Akash
I assume you aretalking about KCET and you are from general category with a domicile of KArnataka. With my assumptions and your rank you cannot get a seat in CS in RV college(as the cutoff rank in the second extended round is 964). You can check the full list from https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-cutoff . However you can get CSE in any other college like Sapthagiri,Don Bosco Institute of technology,MVJCE,JIT etc. You can check the full list from https://www.careers360.com/kcet-college-predictor . All the best!
Hello Aspirant,
Computer Science Engineering at R V College is the most sought after branch. 285/300 in PCM to be honest is a ok ok score. Considering this , I think you need to score 160+ in KCET to guarantee a CSE seat. 160+ in KCET coupled with 285 in PCM will give you a rank of less than 150. I don't think you will get the seat in 1st round but you will surely get it in subsequent rounds!
Hope I solve your query.
All the best!!!!
