Well, Firstly you need to Understand that MIT WPU now- a state private university. So, the procedure is kinda different from others(as far as I’ve Experienced). Firstly, this means that They do not participate into CAP rounds now.

Secondly,to apply you need to go to their website and apply under the option. You would be asked to enter your CET and JEE Mains marks. After the registration closes,they will release the merit list. You will then be called as per your merit number serially for seat allotment. so, higher your score, higher are your chances for getting a seat of your desired branch.

KCET rank will be calculated by considering the performances in KCET and QE (qualifying examination) as well.I will explain with an example ,let us assume that u have scored 131/180 in KCET and 288/300 in QE,then your % marks in KCET is 72.77% and in QE it is 96% now they will add this two( that is, the formula goes like this

Rank will be given

R={(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100

Then they will sort ,who has got more R(i have taken this ‘R’ for better understanding) value will get good rank.

And the rank to a particular ‘R’ value varies every year

Congratulations for the marks. According to the the marks you have got, you rank will be in the range of 30000-35000.

Hello Aspirant, To get rank under 10000 in kcet you should score  at least 70-80 marks in the examination .As your expected marks in 12th will  be 90+ then , your rank will be given on the basis of inter marks and kcet marks .

The total number of seats available for each course at the institution. The difficulty level of the question paper. At least, you need to get 70% to get the rank below 10000 . According to the review from the KCET , it is observed that the cutoff for the general category is supposed to be 50% of the total marks.
