Hi Mahi,
With 28 percentile in MHT CET, admission in top government colleges in Pune is difficult, but you can try for private colleges with lower cutoffs. Here are some options:

  • Dhole Patil College of Engineering

  • Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering

  • Zeal College of Engineering & Research

  • Imperial College of Engineering

  • DY Patil Institute (institute-level or vacant seats)

Apply through CAP rounds and also try for institute-level quota . Keep checking for spot rounds and vacant seats for better chances.

With around 70 percentile in MHT CET 2025, you have a good chance of getting admission in the Mechanical Engineering branch at the following government or government-aided colleges near Solapur:

  1. Walchand Institute of Technology (WIT), Solapur – Government-aided; previous year's cutoff for Mechanical was around 62–73 percentile (depending on category). You have a strong chance here.

  2. N.B. Navale Sinhgad College of Engineering, Solapur – Cutoff for Mechanical is usually around 50–60 percentile. Your score is well above this.

These are the best government or aided options in the Solapur region for Mechanical Engineering with your score. Be sure to apply through CAP rounds and check for category-specific cutoffs for better chances.

Hello,

For MHT CET scores in the 60-70 mark range, securing a seat in top-tier colleges might be challenging, but several good options are available, particularly in Pune and other cities. Colleges like Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE), Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (RSCOE), MIT Academy of Engineering, and Sinhgad Institutes, Pune are worth exploring. Additionally, consider Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) and Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri, Pune .

Thank you!!

If you missed the MAKAUT CET exam, you should first check for any re-examination or supplementary exam opportunities offered by the university for the specific course you were aiming for. If not, you may need to consider reapplying for the next available exam cycle or exploring alternative admission pathways.

HELLO,

Can you please specify for which colleges you want cutoff PDF or you can search it on official website of that college

Hope that helps!

With 47.7 percentile in MHT CET and OBC category, you are eligible for counselling, but chances in top government engineering colleges are low. Most government colleges need a higher percentile, especially for popular branches like CSE or IT. But you can still get some government or aided colleges in lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical.

With 91.13 percentile in JEE Main and 87.31 in MHT CET (PCM), and OBC-NCL category, your daughter has a good chance to get CS, IT, AI, or ENTC in decent Pune colleges like PCCOE, AISSMS, DY Patil Akurdi, or JSPM. Apply through both JEE and MHT CET CAP rounds.

With 77 percentile in MHT CET, you may get admission in mid-range BSc Agriculture colleges under MI (Management/Institutional quota). Exact allotment depends on region, quota, and cutoff. Keep checking the CAP rounds.

With 44 percentile in MHT CET, it’s tough to get CS in top Mumbai colleges. You may get admission in lesser-known private colleges like Hazarimal Somani, Oriental College, or ISBM. Keep checking cutoffs and use your category benefit if any.
