When coming to education quality and comparing other factors like placements and other stuff, one could say private colleges are slightly better than government ones. Not finally judging the phase of government colleges, some govt colleges are better than the private ones, it really depends on what college you choose. But, if you cannot afford fee much, then you can opt for government colleges, even though placements of government cet colleges are good enough as private colleges.

Assuming it as the MH CET(Maharastra common entrance test) as you have not given specific details, The CET exam for the year 2020 takes place from may 16 to may 20. So, the final date would be for may 20. The results would be declared in the first week of June.

Yes, absolutely you can crack the exam even if you have not joined any coaching institution, i would suggest you to go through previous year exam papers and study the pattern of the exam and centre your preparation around it, you should also make it a daily habit of reading newspaper and there editorial and also keep an eye on the recent legal developments in the country. The main difference between CMAT and MAH CET is that CMAT scores are accepted by around 500 AICTE approved B-schools including University departments, constituent colleges, and management institutions across India whereas scores of MAH CET is accepted by Govt and some private institutes in Maharashtra.
Also, the syllabus for both these exams and the paper pattern is slightly different and for this i am attaching a link for your reference which talks in detail about the syllabus, exam pattern, cut off etc of these exam.

The infrastructure of the college is great. The labs and classrooms are well equipped with smmartboards and other needed equipments. We have a main canteen and a separate mess facility available. Our playgrounds are also well maintained and we also have separate courts for football, basketball and other sports.
