Common Entrance Test ( CET ) is a competitive exam conducted for the purpose of admission of students to the first year of full-time courses in medical, dental and engineering courses in professional colleges the various states of India.

Various states conduct the paper differently, for example consider the state of Maharastra, it conducts MHCET, the exam pattern consists of 3 question papers of three 4 subjects, 1st paper contains maths, 2nd paper contains physics and chemistry and final paper contains botany and zoology.

However, which entrance you want to answer is your choice personally. It is better to answer JEE Mains as the level of the exams is nationally recognized and it gives candidate a good educational advantage.

you can get admission in vjti mumbai either in jee main exam score or by mahacet exam score. if you have apply for only jee main exam then you are also eligible for the counselling process for vjti mumbai.

No, there no information/ news on MH CET cancellation. MH CET will be going on in the next years also.
.
IPU CET examinations are called not MH CET. Applications will be released in the month of  January 2020 and examination will be in the month of may.
.
As the dates are not yet released,but there will be no cancellation.

MBA is a programme to learn management and business. All over India , CAT,XAT,MAT and many more are accepted for joining MBA. But there are colleges who conducts it's own entrance to intake candidates. So it same goes to CET,Trivandrum.
Syllabus is same. Have to do aptitude,logical and reasoning. The exam pattern might be different but syllabus is same.
You have to practice accordingly and prepare yourself.
