Securing a BPT seat in IPU with a rank of 463, being from outside Delhi, is challenging but not impossible.

IPU allocates a certain percentage of seats for students from outside Delhi. While your rank is competitive, the final outcome depends on several factors:

  • Total Number of Seats: The overall number of BPT seats available in IPU colleges will influence the cutoff.
  • Competition: The number of candidates competing for outside Delhi seats will determine the difficulty level.
  • Counseling Rounds: IPU usually conducts multiple counseling rounds. You might get a seat in subsequent rounds if seats remain vacant.

To increase your chances:

  • Participate in Counseling: Attend all counseling rounds.
  • Explore Other Options: Consider other universities or states if you don't secure an IPU seat.

While your rank is good, it's essential to be prepared for competition and consider alternative options.
