It is a decent college as per the reviews & rating in term of placement. for the genuine reviews of the college you can go through with gievn below link.
Both are equally good colleges when compared.....but i will definitely say BIT PATNA is a better option than haldia institute of technology because it offers good placement and a BITian tag and degree also.....
However you can check and compare both colleges on this app also.....

May be........but not top branches.....just go for wbjee councelling and wait for last round .. ...you may get it

If you think that you are not brilliant enough to get IITs or NITs.......then you can't afford to drop one year.You should take CSE in Haldia institute of technology that's also good and placements at haldia is also nice......so take your decisions wisely .....

College Infrastructure
Beautiful campus with dedicated reading zones and clean surroundings. However, classroom sound systems produce echo during large lectures. Overall infrastructure quality is completely fine for us.all over best infrastructer.

College Infrastructure
Haldia institute of technology in Purba medinipur, West Bengal . Area around 35 acres and features a central library, 3 playing ground and extensive indoor outdoor sports complexs. There are 2 departmental store.
Overall it is good experience.

College Infrastructure
My personal experience about this college is mixed. The infrastructure is very good. Teachers sometimes can be very cooperative and sometimes they delay the assignments . But overall view about this is very good. Wifi can be sometimes applicable sometimes it is not.
Applications for Admissions are open.
