should I take CS in haldia institute of technology or drop one year and prepare for even better college

If you think that you are not brilliant enough to get IITs or NITs.......then you can't afford to drop one year.You should take CSE in Haldia institute of technology that's also good and placements at haldia is also nice......so take your decisions wisely .....

sir will i get haldia.institute of technology kolkata on the basis of jee mains scoring 28 marks sc category ..

In West Bengal..It accept only general rank of jee main not any category rank.
And for admission in haldia institute of technology u should have secure rank below 55k in jee main

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure at HIT Haldia is okay for MTech ECE. Labs got equipment for signal processing and circuits, but some old machines need update. Library big with journals, WiFi works in most places. Hostels separate for boys girls, clean but rooms small, mess food average spicy. Campus 37 acres green, sports ground for football, but no AC in classrooms, hot in summer. Helps labs but could be better.

My Department consists good infrastructure and facilities. Spacious classrooms, modern labs, and a well-stocked central library provide a strong learning environment. The hostels are comfortable and safe, with 24/7 security and decent food. The college also has Wi-Fi across the campus, playgrounds for outdoor games, and halls for cultural programs.
