Neatly maintained premises,very developed workshop are there in separate building.2 different blocks,common lab plus separate labs in respective department.Seperare 3 storeyed building for library.There are 3 restaurants ,food is very well available.There is also 1 departmental store where fast food, stattionary things are available.

Teachers are punctual,hardworking, knowledge is good.Syllabus quite elaborate.Most of the topics are covered.The teachers are student friendly,helpful,careful.They are very calm with nice behaviour human beings.

Actually in our college placements are excellent in CS/IT sectors.They actually hire in bulk.But in core sectors I would say below average.And they select the top 10 students which is very less in number.

Overall good infrastructure from every point of view. Smart classes, auditorium, Laboratory, class room, library, hostel and canteen all are available. Hostel and campus are well maintained. Hostel food are very hygienic.

Good academics. Seminar and industrial exposure on carriculam. Teachers are good and knowledgeable. Lab technician are also good. In hand experience in lab. Class test and assignment given on carriculam basis.

Placement is average. First of all IT companies come and hire mass quantities. After that core company come but only one company you can get the offer. But college is not so helpful to get the best fitted job for you. They are only concerned to give placement.

Good infrastructure. Classroom, Library, smart classes, Auditorium available. Hostel and canteen available and it is very hygienic. Full campus WiFi. Sufficient laboratory equipment. All types of lab available.

Good academic. Teacher are good and knowledgeable. They helps students very much. Daily classes and assignment on regular basis. Strictly exam. Lab technician are very good. Every lab happen on regular basis.

IT company hires mass quantities from all the department. Core company come for every department but you will not get another chance after getting placed in one company. Average package 3 to 4 lpa. But all students doesn't placed.

Good infrastructure, wifi campus available, smart Class available, SN BOSE auditorium available with capacity of more than 500 persons. Laboratory and libraries are available. Hostel and canteen available inside the campus.

Good academic record since 1997. Alumni of the college are working in prestigious organisation. Sufficient faculty and they are knowledgeable and helpful. Laboratory teacher are also good. Seminar and extra carriculam activities going on throughout the year.

Average placement. First IT companies come and hire mass quantities from all the branches. After that you will get a choice to face interview with core company till you getting the job, once you got the job no second chance for better company. Be aware from small company. They comes first and hire good student. College are only interested to offer the job without concerning the package.

Well infrastructure. Laboratories, class room and auditorium are available. Smart class available. Separate boys and girls hostel. Hoste are very clean and hygienic. All the campus is well maintained. Very good

Very good academic record. Regular classes. Regular laboratory going on. Lot's of seminars and extra curriculum activities going on throughout the year. Good teacher. Supportive environment in the class room.

Moderate level of placement. Not so good placement record but almost 75 percent placement done in every year. Few reputed company comes for placement. most of the company are average. Lots of IT company comes for placement.

Very good infrastructure. Smart classes and normal classes available. Mechanical laboratory and and equipment are also available. Hostel facility available with hygienic and we'll maintained. But it is good to stay outside the hostel for new comers.

Very good academic record. All the teachers and faculties are very good and helpful. It is A grade NAAC approved college. Lab technician are also very good. Theory and practical both are well taught by faculties.

More Or less good placement record. Approx 75 percentage got placed in college campus. But most of them average company. Few reputed company come here and hire very minimum number of students. But IT companies hire mass quantities.

Infrastructure is good. You will get all the necessary facilities needed both in lab and in classroom also. wifi service is also there, there is gym and all section also. Hostel is well maintained and Girl hostel is safe and security is there. Auditorium is also there with AC facilities.

I am a 4th year Chemical Engineering student. In HIT chemical engineering is one of the best department in terms of quality teaching and placement. Curriculum is updated and makes you job ready for any chemical industry and you get all the knowledge and fundamentals of chemical engineering.

In terms of my Department (chemical engineering) placement is good, almost everyone gets a company at the end of the course. CS and IT course also gets decent placement. Company like IBM and other tech company also come for placement. Avg. Salary will be around 4 lacs. It can go upto 12 to 14 lacs in core and much more in CS.

Course cost in low , and affordable for everyone even for lower middle family class also and has a decent Return on Investment. Like if 4 lacs in course fee then you will get package around that or more. Course fee includes all the other facilities.

Campus life is good, you will get to explore many things, many clubs are there like acting club, Mechanical clubs etc etc.

Overall the college among one of the best private colleges in West Bengal. Campus life is amazing, many opportunities is there. Course is value for money.

College have great infrastructure. 1st year rooms have no AC that is not good. Instead of that every is good here. Classrooms have smart board facility. Food quality is average. Hostels have wifi facility. Campus is clean and Aryabhatta Library is Awesome, believe me.

I am pursuing Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am currently in 3rd year. Teaching quality is average here. One cannot rely completely on professors. Focus on your dreams and work hard to get placed.

Placement is average. Almost all CSE students got placed. Average package is somewhat 3.5 to 4 lpa package. If you are good students then you can grab 6-7 lpa package. Approx 80-90% student got placed here

1.10 Lakh per year. It increases year to year. But its value for money comparing other techno like college if you get placed here.

Campus Life is Awesome. Gym facility, Sports, College Annual Fest. There are lots of Clubs in it.

College is quite good. Come and enjoy your college life here.

Being one of the oldest private engineering college the college has good infrastructural facilities but those aren't properly maintained. Basic facilities such as library, Laboratories, smart classroom etc were present. But there is alot of room for improvement.

Academics of this college is average as the curriculum isn't updated upto the industry requirements. The faculties are not enough qualified & experienced apart from a few of them. As it has become an autonomous college recently so there is good opportunity for the college to update it's course outline overall.

The college has a good placement plan for it's students. The training and placement cell takes care of placements on individual basis & tries to bring companies to place the entire batch of different domain.

HIT is one of the oldest engineering college of West Bengal. The college has built it's reputation over the time & tried to provide all the essential facilities & amenities to the students. But still there is much improvement required as the industry demand is changing vastly.

Academics of the college is average. The courses aren't that updated upto the industry standards. The professors are also not that well qualified. But a few of them are good. The college is recently upgrading the curriculum which is actually good but still the result won't be visible overnight.

Placement of HIT is not that bad but for CSE & IT the placement is good but for our batch it was average as students from mechanical went to IT jobs. The college needs to attract core companies for other streams to visit the campus & then only the placement would be much better.
