Hello Aspirant! Firstly, congratulations for your result. With 89 percentile in your JEE Mains you can't get CSE in Heritage College but you have chances of getting civil or mechanical if seats are left and it also depends on cutoff this year. So you nearly have chances of getting a lower branch but not CSE.
All the Best!
Hi
Guessing your rank is in jee main.
Jee main is also accepted in wbjee counselling. For jee main seats in wbjee there's only open seats means there's no reservation for any category.
This is very difficult to predict which college you will get
But yes,
With 1.2 lakh rank
On the basis of round 3 , wbjee 2019 counselling on the basis of jee main , you have low chance in Heritage Institute Of Technology for ECE :-
ECE :- 61013
So, you have low chance ffor ECE
You have chance in Heritage Institute Of Technology for biotechnology :-
Biotechnology :- 126877
And a few more
As per 2019 cut off available at Official website :- https://admissions.nic.in/wbjeebcouns2019/wbjeebcouns2019/orcr/PrevYearORCR.aspx
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cut off keeps changing every year depending upon a lot of factors like number of students etc.
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender, different counselling accepting jee main like wbjee etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below

HIT also accepts scores of WBJEE and the cutoff in WBJEE for biotechnology goes to around 16K.
Hope this helps.
Yes, it is genuinely a good choice. When it comes to Heritage Institute of Technology, there campus life is amazing, faculties are really good and the labs are well equipped. Coming to placements, most of the students get placements that too in good companies so yes, you can move on with Chemical Engineering curriculum from Heritage Institute.

Dear Aspirant,
Every college has different percentile cutoff of JEE Mains for their CSE branch. It varies drastically from college to college so it depends on the college you want to pursue CSE in. Top NITs cutoff can go higher than 99 percentile while in some other colleges, you can get CSE in 90 percentile.
Good Luck!
Classrooms are well-organised. They are too big spacious enough to sit. The college is fully Wi-Fi enabled, but the network is the worst, so no one uses it. There is a hostel facility for girls and Boys, but it is just average. The campus is very large, so there are very sports grounds like cricket, football, basketball, and table tennis.
Labs and library are up to the mark . The library is more than sufficient for every student and every semester the college provides recommended books from the library for the course . The canteen is also hygienic and charges reasonably for students. Table tennis, basketball, basketball ,football ,cricket every type of sport is available for the students . So it's a good experience for everyone. Additionally, there are many clubs available to join. There are various events and festivals going on through the year. Anyone can participate in them .
The classrooms are big and spacious with projectors there is AC in the classrooms, there is AC available in the lab. The labs are well-equipped with the latest technologies. There is a huge library with 1000 of books and they provide books for each semester. There is a hostel for girls inside the campus, but for boys, the hostel is for their first year only.
