Heritage is among the good colleges in Kolkata. To tell you the truth no college guarantees 100% placement. It is not possible and the chances of any student getting placed that to with a decent salary completely depends upon the student.

Well the average package offered is 3-5 lacs p.a. Although a few exceptions are there who got placed with more than the average package in the recent years.

Heritage institute of technology is undoubtedly one of the best engineering college in Kolkata. It provides quality education along with positive and safe environment.

Teachers and faculties are well qualified and coopeerative and are quite serious about academic performance of students and so they will always keep you busy with presentations and assignments for better understanding of concepts. Also, they try to solve maximum doubts of students through extra classes and regular class tests.

PLACEMENTS:  college provides good placements in IT sector. But your hard work and academic performance is of prime importance when it comes to placements. Though, placement cell is very cooperative and hard working. They conduct training programmes for students and so that average students can also get a fair chance. Average salary package goes around 4-5lacs. But then if you want to get a good package and if you want to get placed in one of the core companies then for that you have to develop required skills and entirely focus on your academic performance.

According to the ratings released in 2020, Heritage ranks first in the list of top private engineering colleges in Kolkata, whereas IEM ranks 2nd. As far as academics are considered, both colleges are good and both gives priority to infrastructure, clubs, overall academic schedules. But the major difference lies when it comes to discipline. IEM has strict disciplinary rules and an attendance of 75% is compulsory to be able to sit for exams. Or else, they make it a priority to send messages to your parents when you bunk classes.

Both colleges provide good placement opportunities if you are consistent in your studies. Heritage had placements from Amazon, Byju's, TCS, etc this year.

Among all the three colleges mentioned above in the query are of similar level only. However, considering the infrastructure and placements heritage institute of technology is the best among the three. You can also search for many other government colleges which are better than this

i would say you should go for heritage institute of technology. It is one if the best college of West Bengal. Average package is around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Compared like intel, byjus, Microsoft, etc visit the campus for recruitment. The campus is also amazing. Almost 80% of the students get placed.
