Hello aspirant ! Let me to Inform you that with your general ranking you are never going to get heritage institute of technology kolkalta. Nevertheless with your category rank you can the college. In round one of counseling you might not get but may be in round 2 will get one. But the branches will not be of what you like. You can get IT, EI etc.

Dear candidate......,

Well, basing upon your rank in WBJEE, you may not get admission in Heritage institute of technology especially in ECE branch. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high. You may also apply for other deemed universities and private colleges at the time of counseling.

Hope this helps you out......

Best of luck:)

Its pretty tough to get any good stream(placement wise) in any nit if you are from General category.Still you can get streams like chemical ,civil etc in North East Nits. If you are OBC then you may get Mechanical or Chemical in a decent NIT(like Nit jamshedpur) provided you belong to that state(state quota). If you are SC/ST then you may get stream of your choice in lower nits (again if you belong to that state containing that nit)(not sure, since vary).

Dear Aspirant,

First of all congratulations on getting this good rank in WBJEE!

Now, coming to your query, considering your rank, category and previous year's opening and closing rank, you can get Heritage Institute of Technology. Below are some good branches that you can get:

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

Etc.

I hope that the above information is useful to you.

 Good luck!

Hello,

You have got quite a good rank in wbjee. And with this rank you can easily get heritage institute of technology, kolkata even if you are a other state student. Last year the closing rank for car was around 31k for other state so you will get cse in it.

All the best!!!

Dear Nitesh,

As per your query I think that you have given WBJEE. As per WBJEE cutoff in Heritage Institute of Technology for B.tech in Computer science and engineering for General category students is 803-3172, for SC candidates it is 5590, for ST category candidates it is 22264 for first round of counselling. If seats are vacant then are chances that you can get. Hope this helps!

Hii Nik..

You have performed quite well in Wbjee exams and I will say that there is high chances of getting CSE at Heritage Institute with this rank.

You can also try for IEM , Kolkata CSE or IT Dept  as it is also a very reputed college with having quite good placements.

Other than this if you are having home state quota West Bengal then you can also try for government colleges like Institute of leather Technology or  Institute of ceramic Technology or KGEC (Kalyani Government Engineering College).

Hope this helps.

Best of luck for your future.

Hello Niraj kumar,

You can surely get Heritage Institute of Technology. According to the rank you're having in the privileged category is really good and this factor may help you get admission in the first counselling session as well. CSE and IT branch also could be achieved. Wait for the counselling proceedings to begin and may you get one. Good luck!

Hope this helps...

Thank you and all the best....

There are very low chances, I would say almost no chance to get HIT with this rank, but you can try in other colleges like Haldia, Techno and others if you want a decent college for civil engineering.
