For CSE Branch :Approx 4000-4200 rank

For Ece :4500-5000 rank

For ME : 6000-7000 rank

Congratulations for your result. You know the cutoffs change every year based on various factors. But going by last few years' data, it will be quite difficult to get Computer Science or Information Technology in IEM. As the closing rank for CS lies around 1700 for general category and 3100 for Information Technology after round 3 of counselling. In Heritage Institute of Technology, last year the closing rank for CSE was around 3434. And for Information Technology, it was around 4254. But the cutoffs change every year. You can look for CSE in other private Engineering colleges like Techno India College of Technology, Techno India main campus also. First of all, Congrats on such a good rank. The cutoff for IEM in TFW for CSE is around  1540 via WBJEE in the third round hence I think you may not  get a seat in CSE in IEM even if you wait till the third round. The cutoff of different courses in IEM are

EE 4800

IT 3755

ECE 3527

So you have high chance to get  IEM Kolkata in Electronics in TFW stream .

Institute of Engineering and Management commonly knows as IEM Kolkata does not offer admission based on JEE mains percentile or any other exam.It just offers admission through WBJEE examination which is conducted every year.

Dear Student,

As per last year there are three rounds of counselling in this college. In the first round, the opening and closing rank for this 4 years is,

Computer Science Engineering : Opening Rank - 5066 and Closing Rank - 12784

So you will get the chance in the first round counselling.

The 1st year fees is 1,30,200 INR and the Uniform and Brochure Charges( one time fees) is 6,100 INR.

For ECE you need around 5500 rank .
