As you have secured overall general rank of 24970, and you are a sc candidate, then there is no chance that you can get IET lucknow as per seeing last year cutoff trends.
Last year the highest cutoff closing rank for sc male candidate in IET lucknow, on basis of their overall general merit rank was - 12846 (for chemical engineering in round 4 counseling ).
So you can not get any branch in IET lucknow with this much general rank.
But you can get other good colleges like UIET KANPUR (which is a good government college) as per seeing previous cutoff ranks. In uiet kanpur, except cse branch you can get all the other branches with your overall general merit rank.
Also you can get other good colleges too.

As you have secured 7000 rank in obc category, then it is impossible for you to get iet lucknow. Because with 7000 obc rank your overall general rank is far away from 10000. Even from girls quota, you cannot get seat in this college.
Because last year, the higher cutoff closing rank till last round counseling for obc girl candidates on basis of their overall general merit rank was - 5899 ( for chemical engineering ).
So, as your overall general rank is very much high, then you cannot get any branch in Iet lucknow.
Better you try at some other colleges.

Hi Utkarsh, on behalf of the rank you have scored i.e. as your general rank is 267 and EWS category rank is 59, so since you have very good rank in both categories so there are the chances that you can be considered under the fee waiver group criteria. So overall to avail this you should first enquire about this with the college authorities you most probably you will get all information regarding this.

You got 12929 rank in upsee & your OS rank is 618.
Look, IET Lucknow is one of the best colleges in India. So, its cut off rank is so high. Minimum marka required for IET Lucknow is around 450.Cut off rank for iet Lucknow is less than 3000. Sometimes it becomes upto 5000 but not more than that.

Dear aspirant, it all depends on which branch you are going for. General for branches like computer science rank for ews category was within 1k. But for branches like civil, mechanical, etc you can get the seat under this quota. General rank would not be helpful in this case. Among the above 2 colleges, IET lucknow is best for engineering.It has very good placement opportunities than BIET jhansi, more companies come here.
also it is among the top most government college of AKTU.
it is placed in middle of lucknow where the environment around is soo good for coaching and extra learning so you learn more than college.it has various co curriculur activities , and far better academics.its campus is also very good.
so it is far better than BIET jhansi.

Congratulations for getting such a pretty rank in UPSEE 2020. According to the last some years cut offs sorry to say but you have very very less or probably no any chances of getting admission into IET Lucknow for Master of Business Administration i.e. MBA.
As IET Lucknow is the most prestigious institution of UP so that the cut offs for this institution are generally very high. Last year the cut off rank for MBA in IET Lucknow with EWS category is only 84 rank. As your rank is far more than that o you have very very less chances of admission in this institution.

among IET Lucknow and BIET jhansi for engineering in CS ,IET Lucknow is far better.it is among the top government college of AKTU.If we talk overall in academics and placement , IET lucknow has more placed students so it has better placements.
Also, the environment here is quite good in term of learning something extra or coachings and all so you can learn very much extra also .Its campus i also very good ..it has quite more facilities than BIET jhansi

Now as your preferred college is IET lucknow and your preferred branch is information technology and computer science engineering, then it is quite impossible for you to get seat in these branches.
Here are the last year cutoff closing ranks for IT and CSE for obc candidates on basis of their general merit rank in round 4 counseling :-
Information technology - 1207
Computer science and engineering - 867
So, as per seeing the last year cutoff trends there is no change that you can get these two branches but apart from these two branches, you can easily get other good branches in iet lucknow like chemical engineering, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, etc.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is good not best , there is very few wifi installed in campus , libraries is good and most of the academic book are available, and issuing book from library is hassel free , classroom is decent .
Overall a good experience

College Infrastructure
According to me College instfrastructre is very good and college is have high building and large playing background and college have large amounts hostel have been situated for everyone boys for available.
