Hi Yash, with such rank, there are decent chances you can get a seat in IET. CS and IT are one the most preferred branches. If not in the first rounds but during final rounds of choice filling you can get a seat in CS or IT. If not ECE and other disciplines will get u a seat. Good luck.

If we consider the previous year cutoffs for IET lucknow , you have no chances of getting a seat in IET lucknow with this rank as for getting a seat there , you need a rank much lower than this and even lesser than 2k.

If 2382 is your overall general merit rank in UPSEE exam, then congratulations you can get IET Lucknow with your rank. As per seeing the last year cutoff Trends you can easily get some of the good branches in IET Lucknow. As you are a girl then you can get chemical engineering, civil engineering, electronics and Instrumentation Engineering till round 4 counselling.

But if this is your ews category rank then there is no chance that you can get IET Lucknow and therefore better you try at some other colleges.

Dear student,

As you have secured gngl rank of 1260 in UPSEE then your overall general rank must be above 5000.
Now as your overall general rank is above 5000 then there is very little or no chance for you to get IET Lucknow, because for getting seat in IET lucknow, your must have to secure under under 4000 overall general rank.

Last year the highest closing rank for general girl candidates on the basis of their overall general merit rank was - 4196 (for chemical engineering, in round 4 counseling).
And your overall general merit rank is even higher than 4196.
So, there is no chance that you can get iet lucknow in any branch.
But you can get other good goverment colleges too.

can i get IET LUCKNOW chemical engineering department with a GNGL rank of 2870 ?

First of all congratulations on securing 2870 rank gngl rank in upsee. As you are a girl and have secured this much general rank, then you can easily get IET lucknow as per seeing the last year cutoff closing ranks.

As you preferred branch is chemical engineering them also got can get very easily with this much rank.
Last year the cutoff closing ranks for chemical engineering branch for general girl candidates for round 3 counselling was - 3988.
And for round 1 counselling it was - 2988.
So as you can see you have a very good chance of getting chemical engineering in iet lucknow in 1st round counseling as per your rank.

I am not getting CS/IT branch, but i am interested in coding. Which college should I take UIET chandigarh(ECE) or IET lucknow (ECE) ?

The cut off in 2019 round 4 was as follows for SC category in INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY,LUCKNOW

CSE:4252
EE:7502
ECE: 8400
IT: 7208

Considering the cut off you have decent chances of getting seat in the branches mentioned above. But cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good not best , there is very few wifi installed in campus , libraries is good and most of the academic book are available, and issuing book from library is hassel free , classroom is decent .

Infrastructure is normal according to Government affiliated one. Not that maintained as in private institutions Greenary is there in overall campus area In first look one may not like but it's environment around is quite peaceful.

According to me College instfrastructre is very good and college is have high building and large playing background and college have large amounts hostel have been situated for everyone boys for available.
