I have got vit vellore ECE and my upsee rank is around 4700 which is better option for me. I mean placements and faculty etc.

Yes It would be a great decision to go for the VIT as per the rank govt. colleges are less fortunate for you according to your rank but I must say if you have VIT then go for it. Also the placement at VIT for ECE is good that the minimum package of 3.25 lakhs is offered at VIT and you can get upto 10 lakhs per anuum in VIT. Choosing VIT will be having the more value but rest of the decision will depend upon you so you think and then make your choice.

My rank in upsee 3417 in general category Can I got CS from IET, Lucknow

Hi Ashish,

I will first provide you the cutoff for the CSE branch of previous years for IET Lucknow for General category and then give you a conclusion.

In 2016, after Round 5-

Cutoff rank- 2701

In 2017, after Round 4-

Cutoff rank- 1016

In 2018, after Round 3-

Cutoff rank- 728

This year, three rounds will be conducted but I don't think you have a chance of getting CSE in IET Lucknow but you can surely get Chemical or Electronics branch.

Yes you can get an admission.

For KNIT:- the cutoff is 65-133

For IET:- the cutoff is :- 21-53

For Raebareli:- 206-1465

Hi Candidate! Sorry to inform you that you don't have any chance to get a seat iet Lucknow with this rank. You have quite low rank. For good streams you have to score under 1500 rank. So you have almost no chance of getting admitted in iet. But wait for the counseling result.

With a rank of around 2,500 in the general category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the Institut of engineering and technology, Lucknow when comparing the results of previous years. As it is one of the most reputed institutes, the closing ranks there was around 700. But, scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. Upsee obc rank 4215 electronics or electrical iet lucknow mil sakta hai

With a rank of 4,215 in obc category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the IET Lucknow under electrical engineering branch when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, 783 was the closing rank for electrical engineering. But, electronics engineering had a closing rank of around 28,000, where you have a good chance for procuring a seat. Upsee obc rank 4215 cse branch IET LUCKNOW mil sakta h

You would be able to get almost all the colleges through UPSEE through your OBC quota.
Though no one can guarantee you CS/IT in the top notch colleges, you can definitely make it to all the good private engineering colleges for CS or IT.
If you want only Computer Science engineering, I will suggest you to go With good private colleges under UPTU.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good not best , there is very few wifi installed in campus , libraries is good and most of the academic book are available, and issuing book from library is hassel free , classroom is decent .

Infrastructure is normal according to Government affiliated one. Not that maintained as in private institutions Greenary is there in overall campus area In first look one may not like but it's environment around is quite peaceful.

According to me College instfrastructre is very good and college is have high building and large playing background and college have large amounts hostel have been situated for everyone boys for available.
