Hello student,
HBTI, as you will get better exposure and competitive environment than IET. As HBTI is now HBTU so you will get the degree from HBTU instead of ATKU. It has produced quality engineers and has a wide alumini base holding higher position in top government organisations.
Cheers!
You have no or very less chance of getting into IET, Lucknow. However, there are many more options available to you including the good private colleges. Do not compromise with your branch as this is not recommended in the engineering field. Go for the one in which you are comfortable.
According to the previous year's analysis, the following will be the cutoff rank for IET, Lucknow:
CSE - 6000
ECE - 9000
EE - 8000
EIE- 16000
Chemical - 15000
Civil - 9500
IT - 10500
Mechanical - 8500
Options available to you are:
1. BIET, Jhansi
2. KNIT, Sultanpur
3. JSS, Noida
4. Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad
Hope this will help!
Hey Kajal, you have secured a wonderful rank and I m sure you will get any branch in IET Lucknow as the opening and closing ranks of computer science and engineering in IET was recorded to be 309 and 728 by the end of round 3 respectively. So I m positive you will do well there. Do participate in the counselling sessions and I wish you all the best
Congrats on securing a great rank!
With a rank of 583 you can easily get Computer Science and engineering in IET Lucknow.
The opening and closing ranks were noted to be 309 and 728 last year respectively at the end of round 3 so I m sure you will have a chance this year too!
Best of luck
Hey!Harsh
Seeing your score and previous year cuttoff of UPSEE,you seems elligible for KNIT.But you will get non core stream in KNIT with this score you won't get CSE,IT,ME,EE etc.And you are not elligible for IET.And you can secure seat in other government engineering college with core stream.
Visit below mention link to know previous year cuttoff of UPSEE:

GOOD LUCK!
Hello Agam
Yes, you can get and not only any core but you can even get Mech or EEE.
The UPSEE cutoff rank for IET LUCKNOW IN 2018 was 3095 in open category in chemical engineering in third round of counselling..
THAT is the rank to atleast ENTER the IET but there were seats left in final spot also.
Hi Pulkit,
I can provide you the cutoff of previous years for IET Lucknow from which you can get an idea of how the trend is going-
In 2016, for OBC category, after Round 4-
Cutoff Rank (for any branch)- 4328
In 2017, for OBC category, after Round 4-
Cutoff Rank (for any branch)- 5170
In 2018, for OBC category, after Round 3-
Cutoff Rank (for any branch)- 4840
From this, you might have got an idea that it will not be possible for you to get a seat unless you secure a rank below 5000 if you are from the OBC category.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Dear Ajay Lodhi,
in my opinion if you are looking to study in Agra iet khandari should not be your first choice. Just affilation dr. B.R. ambedkar university does not make a good college. They dont’t have much facilities and results take forever to be announced. If you really want a good college in agra try agra college aur st. Johns college or if you are good in studies you really try your luck at dayalbagh education institute.
hope you got your answer.
Good luck :)
Hello Ajay,
IET Khandari is a good option only if you don't have any other options left. They dont’t have much facilities and results take forever to be announced.
All the best!
The infrastructure of IET Lucknow is well-equipped and efficient for students. The hostel and library amenities are reliable, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable throughout the campus. The campus is safe, and hostel entry is controlled appropriately. Classrooms have projectors and adequate seating.
The infrastructure of the college is in shambles to tell frankly. The library has strange restrictions for taking up laptops. Classrooms and labs are okay with satisfactory and Wi-Fi connections are provided. Hostels are terrible. Food is tasteless and only one canteen is there on campus. The sports complex of college has been under construction for past few years with yet no completion in sight.
The library is good; all books are available in our college library. There is no need to buy books from outside as the library allows borrowing books for a particular time. Classes are fully modern and clean. The computer labs are also clean, and all systems are in running condition. Wi-Fi facility is available but does not work properly.
