NLU Kochi Placements - Salary Trends, Highest, Average & Median Salary, Top Companies

As per the NIRF 2024 report, around 30 students from the BA LLB course got placed with a median salary of Rs 15 lakhs while 28 students from the postgraduate course have been placed. NUALS Kochi has a placement cell that helps in the placement of final-year candidates. The National University of Advanced Legal Studies placement cell comprises faculty members and student representatives. The cell conducts various pre-placement training like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, group discussions, mock interviews, soft-skills training, etc to make the students’ placement ready.

For NLU Kochi placement, the cell invites companies to its campus for recruitment of the candidates. The institute follows a placement process for smooth conduction of the placement. The institute also provides a separate placement infrastructure to assist in the final interview process. The placement cell of NUALS Kochi also provides internship assistance to the candidates. Students have internships in various law firms and corporate institutions like ADN Associates, Bhagat Law Chambers, Fox Mandal Associates, ICICI Bank, etc. Students have also got an internship for the role of judges and advocates. 

 NUALS Kochi is a National Law University that participates in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2024). The NUALS placement process is organised in a way that the university has a dedicated cell for handling the recruitment process. The NUALS placement is not as good as any other top NLU, however, it does conduct the placement drive regularly and many legal firms, organisations and civil society organisations participate in the recruitment process. NUALS Kochi Placement Process 2024

• NUALS Kochi placement cell sends invitations to the companies.

• Interested recruiters contact the placement cell with requisite company details, job profiles, compensation, etc.

• The details are communicated to the students.

• Interested students register with the placement cell.

• With mutual consent, dates for pre-placement talk and final placement are decided.

• On the final placement day, the companies screen the candidates based on written tests group discussions and /or personal interviews.

• Selected candidates are informed about their selection through the placement cell.
