NLU Kochi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The hostels provide comfortable accommodation to outstation students with triple occupancy and attached washroom. National University of Advanced Legal Studies boys hotel facilities include separate cots, tables, cupboards, common rooms, mess halls, etc. Recreational facilities like indoor games are also available.

The institute also provides hostels for girls. The hostel rooms are well-furnished and well-ventilated and provides comfortable accommodation to the students. There is a common room and mess hall in each hostel and indoor games like carrom, chess, badminton, etc are also available.

The library is a two-floored building and can accommodate more students at a time. National University of Advanced Legal Studies library facilities include numerous resources like textbooks and reference books on law, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines and many more. The library also has an e-corner, where online resources like e-books, Hein Online, Lexis Nexis, Manupatra, J Stor, Westlaw, SSC online, etc are available. Scanners and printers are also available in the library.  

The university believes that sports and athletics play an important role in the all round development of the students and hence provides various indoor and outdoor games. Separate courts and fields are also mainatined especially for outdoor games like football, cricket, volleyball, throwball, etc.

NUALS Kochi IT infrastructure facility is well-maintained and provides good networking in the entire campus.

The university auditorium is well-furnished and is used for inauguration ceremonies, seminars and events. NUALS Kochi auditorium facilities include air-conditioners, Bose sound system, projectors, etc.

The university provides high-speed internet with an optic fibre connection. The entire campus is enabled with wi-fi and students and faculty members can access the facility for free.

The moot court is well situated in the university academic block. It is a large hall equipped and is fully furnished with a surround-sound speaker system and witness stands. Students have also represented NUALS Kochi in several intra college moots and have won many awards. The university also holds three moot court competitions annually. They are Surana and Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition - South Rounds in association with Surana and Surana International Attorneys, Chennai, NUALS National Moot Court Competition on Maritime Law and Securities Law Moot. The competitions help the students know more about the complex and emerging issues of national and international law.

All classrooms and lectures halls are large, spacious and disabled friendly. There is also a separate calssroom for L.L.M students. NUALS Kochi classroom facilities include speaker systems, smart boards, projectors, etc.

The NUALS Kochi gym facility is available for both boys and girls students. The gym is equipped with modern equipment for workouts.

The university cafeteria serves hygienically prepared nutritious food at reasonable prices. Students, staff and outsiders can avail the National University of Advanced Legal Studies cafeteria facility.

State Bank of India ATM facility is available on-campus. 24X7 ATM service can be availed by the students and staff members.
