I think if you are unlucky enough to get a center where the ID checkers are uptight then they might object to it. Otherwise, they also go through details other than the name - as in Father's name, DOB, etc. So do not worry so much about it

If you have an issue finding your name in CET counselling list, the best you can do is to contact the CET cell or the CET helpline centers. They can give the best and the most accurate solution to your problem.

On the basis of your rank and home state . To get a core branch like cse , ece is very difficult for you but you should try to go for branches like Mechanical , civil. Try to apply for your respective state counselling of your state .

Looking at the previous year cutoff any rank below 700 has a fair chance of getting admission. However the seats are less so I suggest you stay for second/third rounfof counseling.
