Hello

  • CET option entry is part of the counselling process after the results.

  • Each state (like MHT-CET, KCET) has different schedules.

  • Option entry in October only happens if later rounds are held.

  • The official CET website gives the exact last date.

  • For example, MHT-CET sometimes has Round 2 or 3 in October.

  • To give the exact date, please let me know which CET and state you mean. You can ask by specifying the state.

Hello,

It’s tough but not impossible for you to get a seat in a top-tier Bengaluru engineering college under 1.5 lakh with a KCET rank of 70k–85k.

But you might not get branches like CSE or ECE in the top private colleges, but you can still find options with less popular branches such as Civil, Mechanical, or Biotechnology.

Here I list out some private colleges where you can still check out during the final rounds:

  • Global Academy of Technology, Bengaluru

  • Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology

  • Reva University (for lower-demand branches)

  • ACS College of Engineering

  • SJBIT (in later rounds)

So, these are colleges where you can check and get your seat.

All the best.

Hello Student,

For SC students, the CET cutoff for Computer Science (CSE) is different in each state and college. It also changes every year depending on how tough the exam is and how many seats are available.

In KCET 2025 (Karnataka), the last ranks for CSE are around:

  • RV College: 4100–4200
  • MS Ramaiah: 10400–10700
  • PES University: 18800–19200
  • BIT: 30800–31200
  • BNM: 70000–71000
  • VTU Belgaum: 110000–115000

So, minimum marks for SC is around 42%.

Hope it helps !

Hello

To get admission in Thakur College (TIMSCDR) through MCA-CET, the cutoff for the All India category in 2025 was around 96.39 percentile. Since you were born in Bihar but did your SSC and HSC in Mumbai, you'll likely fall under the All India quota. So, to stay on the safer side, you should aim for at least 95–97 percentile or higher. Cutoffs can change depending on the competition each year, so the higher you score, the better your chances. Thakur is a good college, so it stays slightly competitive. Keep your focus strong for the 2026 exam and start preparing early

Hey there,
You have a decent chance of getting admission in some mid-tier IPU colleges. Top ones like Maharaja Surajmal, Maharaja Agrasen, and Vivekananda might be tough, but you can still get good options like Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi Institute of Rural Development, and Ideal Institute of Management. You can also try for Tecnia Institute or Trinity Institute in later rounds; cutoffs drop a bit after the first round, so keep checking the updates.

Hello,

With a NEET score of 139 and an OBC category, it is very unlikely you will get admission to MGM Medical College for an MBBS seat. The required cut-off marks for MBBS at MGM are much higher, even for reserved categories. Because MGM Medical College is a deemed university, which means its seats are filled based on merit in NEET through the All-India Quota counselling.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Hello,

The MIT-WPU CET 2025 exam commenced on January 27, 2025 , with subsequent sessions held on April 15 , May 13 , June 12 , and July 17, 2025 . Each session had its own schedule for the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interaction (PI).

The results for these sessions were announced on January 2 , May 28 , and July 28, 2025 , respectively.

For the MIT-WPU CET 2026 , the application process is ongoing, but the specific exam dates have not been announced yet.

Hope it helps!

MHT CET PCB 80 percentile is decent score but this score might not get you into the most competitive colleges, it still places you in a good position for a range of agricultural colleges.  , you can expect to get admission into a decent number of B.Sc. Agriculture colleges in Maharashtra, including some well-regarded institutions. While top-tier colleges like the College of Agriculture, Pune, might be a challenge, there are other good options available are as follows:

VNMKV, Parbhani:

Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, is a well-known agricultural university that may be accessible with an 80 percentile.

SNDT, Mumbai:

Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University, Mumbai, also offers a B.Sc. Agriculture program and might be an option.

Other colleges in the vicinity of Pune:

Colleges like MIT WPU, DY Patil COE, and Shivaji University COE might also be within reach.

PDKV, Akola:

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, is another option to explore.

this is based on Cut Off of 2024 and it changes every year. It is difficult to predict but If you can, give further clarifications on your Reservation Category so that I can give you precise details.

Good luck!!
