I have SCORE 144 rank (agriculturists quota with HK ) in Karnataka CET. Is it possible GET veterinary govt seat?
A rank of 144 in the Agriculturist Quota is a strong position, but getting a particular government veterinary college cannot be guaranteed without knowing your category, seat matrix, Kalyana Karnataka (HK) eligibility and the choices you fill.
For B.V.Sc . & A.H. under the Agriculturist Quota, Karnataka's 2026 rules state that the merit is prepared using 50% of KCET PCB marks and 50% of practical-test marks. The practical examination is conducted for candidates seeking seats under the Agriculturist Quota, and a minimum of 50% in the practical test is required to claim the quota.
Therefore, a rank of 144 gives you a good chance, but the final allotment will depend on the category-wise seat matrix, your HK claim, college preferences and the closing rank in counselling.
I would suggest keeping multiple government veterinary colleges in your option list rather than depending on one college.
