This means if you’ve been given a seat in Maharaja Agrasen Institute in spot round, your earlier seat in JIMS may not be retained unless the rules specifically allow a “freeze” option before participating in the spot round. You should immediately check the official counselling brochure or contact the IPU admission helpdesk to see if there’s a provision to decline the new allotment and keep your old one. Keep in mind that spot rounds are generally for vacant seats and are considered final. Always confirm in writing before making any move to avoid losing both seats.

In case, You have already uploaded your caste validity receipt prior to the CET CAP round and you have now received your original cast validity certificate, then you must show follow- up your documents to the CET portal (e.g.. MHT CET in case you are in Maharashtra) as soon as possible.

This is what you have to do:

log in to your CET candidate portal
Navigate to the swabing the Edit/Update Document Upload tab
Send your own sharable caste validity certificate instead of the receipt
Send and send to the changes

Provided the option to upload is locked, one can visit the nearest Setu Centre or Facilitation Centre (FC) and ask them to update your document.

Besides, the final certificate and the receipt should be kept at hand at the time of verification of documents during counseling.

Do not forget to bring the update to the last list of merit or allotment so that you are not disqualified.

Agar aapne CET Delhi 2025 ka exam clear kar liya hai lekin first round counselling me register nahi hua hai to chinta ki baat nahi hai. Delhi CET me round 2 aur spot round ke sath mid-entry window bhi khola gaya hai jahan aap ab bhi apply kar sakte hain. Careers360 ke article ke hisab se choice filling aur counselling registration round 2 ke liye 8–12 August 2025 tak ka window tha, aur seat allotment round 2 ka result 14 August ko aaya tha Careers360 .
