CSE, IT, ECE all are software related streams. Cse has the programming part with the hardware guide too, IT has all the programmings and ECE has electronics and programming both the parts and ECE has the vast syllabus than CSE and IT.

Heritage Institute of Technology(kolkata) gives one of the best placement in all the courses. The total college fees for this four course is 3,25,000 INR. The hostel/mess charges is not included here. The minimum qualification for admission here is, candidate must have to pass 10+2th level with 45% marks with the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

This year for this pandemic JEE main has not declared the rank and WBJEE has not declared the result yet, so the TFW quota can not be judged now. THe higher secondary result is important for admission,

If you go through the both of the college individually then Computer science and Information technology having highest placements record as per previous 2-3 years and almost ECE aspirants also placed but it will not comparison with CSE and IT .

So as per my recommended you can go through Computer science and Information technology then you will get more benefit in placements because almost 70% recruiters from IT/ITES companies .

If your 12th  percentage is more than 75% and you have 83 percentile in jee then wait for the college counseling session, I think you will get good college.

If you wants to know about Heritage Institute of technology then they provides placement for every aspirants with minimum salary package of 4.1 lpa with highest 16.5 Lpa .But if you are from Civil branch then placement is quiet low but there are lots of top recruiter are visit like TCS, wipro ,Infosys ,Philips ,Godrej with more then 70 companies are visited every year .

For heritage institute of technology kolkata electrical or ece you need to get a rank around 5-6k so you need to score more than 30 marks.

In terms of exposure, facilities and environment, Heritage is a little more than Techno Salt. But as far as the course is concerned CSE is better than ECE.

This year companies like Microsoft , Intel , Amazon and some other big brands recruited CSE graduates from Techno Salt Lake for a max package of 8 lakh with TCS being the mass recruiter. The maximum pay for ECE from Heritage was somewhere around 6 lakhs.

In the end, its just your call as to which course you wish to do. Weigh your options and then make the final judgement.

You should mention you Catagory ( I.e, whether you are GENERAL , OBC or SC or ST ) .

But with this rank , you chances are very thin .

But you can wait till the last round of Counseling,  if there remains any seat vacant you can get a seat at Heritage .

But the chances are really low .
