for getting admission in institute of engineering and management to the courses offered by the IEM kolkata you need to appear for IEM joint entrance exam (IEM JEE) conducted by the college itself. because IEM takes admission on the basis of score you will obtain in the IEM joint entrance exam. and for BBA you must have passed your 10+2 from an recognised board.

Eligibility for BBA in Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is passed with 50% aggregate in 10th as well as 12th from a recognized board.

Admission is conducted through IEMJEE followed by counselling.

Fee structure is Rs 50,000 per semester, so the total fees come up to three lakhs for a duration of three years.

No, As per the stats your rank needs to be really less than that it is currently to get admission in either of the branch in IEM Kolkata.

Assuming you're a general candidate then according to the formula

Rank=(100-percentile)*8690.10

Your rank is around 1,47,730. And you cannot get any branch in IEM Kolkata at this rank untill you have any quota.

Both of these institutes have their own pros and cons.

Both the colleges are good for MBA. But here are some points that my help you in choosing between the two:

• IEM Kolkata is good for MBA Marketing
• IEM Kolkata offers 100% placement for MBA Marketing.
• But It is not that good for other MBA courses.
• For finance, HR and Systems, the placement is around 60%
• Doon Business School offers better placements than other colleges
• It is good in terms of the variety in courses
• It has good faculty members.

Both the colleges are well rated. I cannot find any difference in the colleges. These colleges have equal rating, equal reviews and provides a best education. But the difference is IILM provides only, PGDM and FPM courses, where IRM provides B.e, M.e, BBA, PGDM , MBA and BCA courses.

IEM is a bit older established College, both the Institutes are private and has accreditation of NAAC A. You can opt any of the institute, both are best. Can have a look about College details from the below provided links,
