Hello there,
According to the formula,[100-95*869010/100], your All India Rank is 43450 approximately, where 869010 is the total number of students who appeared in Jan session.  Since you haven't mentioned your category, I'm assuming that you are from the general category.
Now, the cut-off ranks change every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of students appearing in it.
Analysing the previous year data, the cut-off rank for CSE in IEM Kolkata was 21231. So it's difficult for you to get CSE there. You can go for other branches in IEM.

You can also use our college predictor to predict the best college for you. The link is given below:

Hello,

If you will score around 40+ marks in WBJEE, you will never get admission in Jadhavpur University regardless of your category. But since you are from SC category you will easily get admission in IET,Techno India and Heritage and other government colleges.

Good Luck

Hello,

Cutoff varies every year and depends on factors like difficulty level of the paper, number of candidates appeared in the exam, availability of seats and past year cutoff trends. But if you want to get admission in a good college then you need to score 60+ marks in wbjee. But again your category matters too so if you are from sc/st category then you might get admission any college.

Good Luck

Under TFW quota, one doesn't need to pay for the tuition fees in every semester which is a bulk amount. The sum total will be near about INR 40,000 to 50,000 for 4 years. Amount to be paid for uniform is around INR 4,000. The fee structure for TFW Category is very nominal.

Hello Raunak,

To crack the entrance examination of Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, you first need to have a look at the syllabus of the entrance exam and then figure out the subjects you think you are weak in, so that you can devote more time on those subjects.

It doesn't mean that you don't have to focus on the other subjects. To crack the exam you should have an equal balance on all the subjects.

Do practice on regular basis according to the time limit so that you can have a rough idea about how much time you take to solve each question.

After that practice some mock tests to evaluate and improve yourself for the exam.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

its a good college to study and placements.

College Infrastructure

It has modern classrooms, good labs, and a central library but limited space and several wifi and network issues. Infrastructure is decent but not so good. But they have ac which is good for this summer.

IEM has 3 pillars: Academics, Co-circulars & Discipline.

College Infrastructure

The BBA course takes place in the Ashram Campus of Salt Lake, IEMK. It is the most modernized building among all the buildings of IEM. It has got fully chilled air conditioned classrooms, which is a savior during this hot scorching summers. There is facility of clean washrooms. The water filters have serve both cold and normal temperature water. The building has got 2 working elevators, which is all time used by both students and faculties. The campus has a basket ball court, a game zone and a cafeteria, with friendly staffs.

Its a good private engineering college
