Hello aspirant!
I would not be in favour of you to go for the mop up round at all. Many a times it happens that you loose your original seat and you get nothing from your expectations in the mop up round. It's better to take the college you have gotten already. I hope this information was uselful!
I wish you all the very best!
Hello,
The placements and job opportunities in IEM is well recognised.Placement cell is extremely strong . They are dedicated to providing 100% placement. Almost all the students get placed from the college. Some of the students also get more than 5 offers from the campus itself. You will get jobs as per your interest. Due to high placement ratio. This college is located in the heart of the city. Having a very good connectivity to the entire city.
The faculties are very well trained.
The fee structure is affordable and it is decided by the University itself
Hope this helped.
Good luck!
Hello aspirant,
Institute of Engineering and management will be a better option. It has been ranked higher and is also an affiliated college. Though both are good, IEM has better placements and infrastructure. However, Heritage institute of technology has lower fees and more seats. Hope this helped!

Hi Aspirant
The most important thing to be considered here is which branch interests you more. Going for a branch that interests you more is more important than the choice of college.
Before joining any branch gather as much information as you can about the respective branch from people who work in that field.
Hope this helps and All the Best.

Greetings to you,
As per your rank in WBJEE 2019, you are very much likely to get a seat in every branch of IEM except CSE by the fourth round. Although, the chances for ECE branch are quite slim but you do stand a chance at it. The total tution fees for the first year is Rs. 1,30,200 and uniform and brochure charges (one-time) is Rs. 6,100. Good luck.
hi Suraj,
Since you are inclined towards Computer Science through WBJEE I am telling you you chances in the above colleges according to last round cutoffs of the counselling.
You can get CSE in Haldia by the end of 4th Round.
You won't make the cut in IEM and Heritage as their cutoff ended way above your rank. Be hopeful
Good Luck !!
it does have moderately good facilities when compared to other colleges in kolkata (other than JU and IIEST shibpur as they are in a league of their own) but when compared to other top colleges (iem claims to be a top college), it falls short and it falls short by A LOT
One of the best infrastructure maintained with the equipment needed. Faculties are the best in business best in there field all are the rich in experience in there perticular field. Absolute clean and greeney.
It has modern classrooms, good labs, and a central library but limited space and several wifi and network issues. Infrastructure is decent but not so good. But they have ac which is good for this summer.
