Based on your rank and profile, it might be a little difficult for you to get a seat in IET Lucknow as generally the expected cutoff for your profile in IET Lucknow is around 300 rank, so you might be a borderline case in this scenario as cutoffs vary every year. However, you might get other government colleges like HBTI, Kanpur; BIET, Jhansi etc.

First of all congratulation for performing well in your exams. With the rank of 7948 in UPSE the chances of your making into IET LUCKNOW will be really difficult and near to impossible until and unless you belong to some category. The reason behind this is, because HBTI is now not available through uptu so the 2nd best college, which was IET lucknow is now the first priority for the students. Look for BUNDELKHAND UNIVERSITY, u will definitely get a seat in that.
