Yes Harshita, The rank is quite impressive and scoring 2717 in gl is a very good score. You are definately going to get CSE seat in your desired college campus reciding in AKTU. Keep visiting colleges and start looking for counselling dates specified on college websites. Stay in touch with the colleges and finalise counselling dates. You should lock seats in CSE as soon as you can.

AKTU:- 2-100

IET:- 3-64

ICCMRT:- 13-671

this is the list but it is different for different categories. The above mentioned are for general category candidates.

For IGDTUW: Well ventilated buildings, large campus, the construction is of British Era.The labs were well equipped. Professors have in depth knowledge of their subjects and they impart it perfectly to students.Mechanical has seen a placement of 8lacs p.a for CS is like the above 10lacs p.a. is normal and has touched 20lacs p.a

For IET:  it has managed to secure the second rank among the engineering colleges of uttar pradesh state. Placements are good. on an average it is 3-4 lakhs and with good skills and experience it can go upto 7-8 lakhs.

These are some basic differences in the colleges. Now you may choose wisely.

Your rank in UPSEE is decent but you can't get CSE in IET Lucknow. You will be able to get EE, Mechanical and CIVIL or maybee ECE during SPOT round but getting CSE is very very difficult. You can even look for other colleges as well like KNIT, BIET and Rajkiya Colleges where your chances of getting CSE are slightly higher.

Thanks for your query! According to the previous years' cutoffs and the data it is quite difficult for you to get admission in any of the mentioned colleges like iet,knit because since these are the government colleges the cutoffs here are usually very high!

Congratulations on your good rank. If we talk specifically about MBA, IET Lucknow is slightly better than HBTU Kanpur. Though both of them are of same stature on most parameters, IET has location advantage and is a little better in terms of placements. Chances are a little less that you'll get IET Lucknow for MBA. If you had a rank below 200 you could have a chance. But do look out for other entrance exams also which are coming up soon this year because IET has absolutely zero placements for MBA. Since you'll have to shell out a lot of money for the course, try to get some good colleges that offers you a job.
