NLUJAA Courses and Fees 2026

National Law University and Judicial Academy Guwahati courses are offered to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees. NLUJA Assam courses are offered in the field of Law. Admission to NLU Assam courses are based on the CLAT examination.

BA LLB Hons, LLM and PhD are the courses of NLUJAA offered in full-time mode.
NLU Assam fees for 5 years BA LLB programme is Rs 6.70 lakhs.
Total fees of NLU Assam is Rs 1.09 lakhs for the LLM programme.
According to the NLUJAA fee structure 2026, BA LLB fees is Rs 2,44,000, and LLM Fees is Rs 2,11,500, including tuition fees, admission fees, hostel rent, hostel deposit and refundable amount.
NLUJAA Hostel Fees: Rs 32,000 for accommodation, Rs 40,000 for mess and Rs 20,000 as one-time security and mess deposit.
The annual tuition fees of National Law University and Judicial Academy is Rs 80,000 per annum for BA LLB and Rs 55,000 per annum for LLM programmes.
45% is HSC for BA LLB Hons; LLB with 55% marks in LLM; for PhD, 55% marks in LLM is the basic NLU Assam course eligibility criteria.

Admission to NLUJA Assam LLM course is based on CLAT PG examination. The duration of the NLU Assam courses ranges from 1 year to 6 years. Only eligible candidates can proceed with the admission process by filling out the National Law University and Judicial Academy application form.

What are NLU Assam Courses?

NLUJAA only offers one year LLM course and 5 year BA LLB course. NLU Assam LLM course is offered for the duration of 2 years. Students must have cleared LLB with a minimum of 55% marks and have to valid score in CLAT PG to be eligible for National Law University and Judicial Academy course admission to the LLM. Candidates seeking NLUJAA course admissions should comply will the NLUJAA fees and should meet the eligibility criteria of the course. The campus are very large in size and the buildings are newly Built so they are also good .I like the infrastructure as well as the campus. And it's located outside the city so the peace here I get I will never get anywhere else

Best infrastructure with modern equipments. I would request aspirants not to go according to old article and make a prejudice against NLU Assam. They are all 2014 articles amd post. From 2014 to 2020 NLUA has risen and now standing among top law institutions.

Pleasant and worth the money.

College Infrastructure

One of the best campuses in India. NLU Assam has two big buildings and a separate building for library. Classes are air conditioned, spacious with a podium and all digital equipments fixed like smart boards . There is a sports complex under construction as of now. WiFi in the campus and hostels. Very well maintained. Living spaces are clean, however the quality of hostel food is low. Nonetheless, food is edible and there are shops nearby.

The total fee for 5 years at NLUIJAA is around 7 lakh for the entire duration, including hostels, tuition, and other charges. The annual fee would be 1.45 lakh.
