Since you have a Maharashtra domicile and belong to the SC category, you have a strong chance of securing admission at ILS Law College, Pune for the 5-year LLB program. The college reserves seats for SC candidates as well as Maharashtra residents, which makes the cutoffs more relaxed compared to the open category. In the past, SC candidates with CET percentiles in the range of 60 to 70+ have successfully gotten admission.

With your 76 percentile, your profile fits well within the expected cutoff for reserved seats. Just make sure you register on the CET Cell Maharashtra or ILS admission portal when applications open. Upload all the necessary documents like your CET scorecard, SC category certificate, and domicile proof. Don’t miss out on the counseling rounds—especially the second and third rounds, where more seats often become available.

Wishing you the very best as you begin your journey in law!

It's great that you're looking into your options for engineering colleges in Mumbai. Getting a 67 percentile in MHT CET and 40 percentile in JEE Main places you in a competitive bracket for admission through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds in Maharashtra. While securing a seat in top-tier colleges might be difficult with these scores, there are definitely good private and unaided colleges affiliated with Mumbai University where you can seek admission, especially in non-CS branches.

Here is a list of some colleges affiliated with Mumbai University where you may have a chance of admission with a 67 percentile in MHT CET. Please note that cut-offs can vary each year based on the number of applicants, their scores, and the availability of seats. It's crucial to check the official cut-off lists released for the current academic year during the CAP rounds.

Colleges to Consider (based on previous year's trends):

  1. Saraswati College of Engineering, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai: This college has a decent reputation and might offer admission in branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.

  2. Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Raigad: Located slightly on the outskirts of Mumbai, this college often has cut-offs that are more accessible for students with scores in your range. You might be able to get a seat in branches like Mechanical or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

  3. Jawahar Education Society's A.C. Patil College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai: This is another option in Navi Mumbai that you can explore. They offer various engineering branches, and you might find a seat in a branch like Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

  4. Terna Engineering College, Nerul, Navi Mumbai: This is a well-known private college affiliated with Mumbai University. While the cut-offs for popular branches like Computer Engineering might be higher, you may have a chance at other branches.

  5. Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering, Dombivali: You can also consider this college, which has multiple branches and a reputation for being accessible to students with lower percentiles.

  6. Atharva College of Engineering, Malad (West), Mumbai: This is another private college in Mumbai that you can look into. You might get a chance in branches like Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

Important points to remember for admission:

  • CAP Rounds: The admission process for most engineering colleges in Maharashtra is done through the CAP rounds conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. You should participate actively in all the CAP rounds. Sometimes, students with lower scores can get a seat in the later rounds (CAP Round 2 or 3) as the seats are filled up.

  • Choice Filling: During the CAP rounds, it's very important to fill your preference form strategically. Make a long list of colleges and branches, and arrange them in your order of preference.

  • Consider Other Branches: With a 67 percentile, securing a seat in highly sought-after branches like Computer Engineering or Information Technology might be challenging in top colleges. However, you have better chances in core branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. These branches also offer great career opportunities.

  • JEE Main vs. MHT CET: While you have a 40 percentile in JEE Main, for admission to colleges in Maharashtra, your MHT CET score will be given preference for state-level seats. You can use your JEE Main score for All India Quota seats, but the competition is generally very high.

I strongly recommend you use the official MHT CET college predictor tools and check the previous year's cut-off lists (available on the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra) to get a more precise idea of which colleges and branches you can target. Don't lose hope; with careful planning and a strategic approach during the CAP rounds, you can definitely secure a seat in a good engineering college.

HELLO,

The MH BSc Nursing CET exam for 2025 saw 26,311 candidates registering and paying fees . The exam was conducted by the Maharashtra CET Cell. While registration is not explicitly mentioned in the provide search results. The exam is computer based test and the results will be used for a centralized Admission Process to fill seats in nursing colleges based on merit.

Hope this Helps!

As an OMS (Outside Maharashtra State) student with 95 percentile in MHT CET and 75 percentile in JEE Main , your chances in top government colleges in Maharashtra are limited, since OMS seats are fewer and highly competitive. However, you still have a decent chance in private colleges like VIT Pune, PCCOE, DY Patil, and MIT-WPU under the institutional or management quota . It's important to apply early and keep track of institute-level rounds for better chances.

Dear Aspirant,

At a 1443 rank in AP LAWCET 2025, you stand a good chance of being admitted to a number of law colleges in Andhra Pradesh, most likely in non-university law colleges, though there is a possibility of landing admission in a university law college as well, especially in case you are a part of a reserved community like BC, SC, ST, CAP, or EWS. Although admission may be very difficult to procure in the initial round in high-ranking institutions like Andhra University (AU) or Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) in the general category, there is still a chance in subsequent rounds or through the quota system. You can get a good probability to get the admission in the mid-tier law colleges such as Daita Sriramulu Hindu College of Law in Machilipatnam, Siddhartha Law College in Vijayawada, VR Law College in Nellore and Indira Priyadarshini Law College in Ongole. Also, the intake and cutoffs are usually higher in the non-government law colleges such as NBM Law College, NVP Law College, Aditya College of Law and Sri Eshwar Reddy College of Law all of which have very high ranks in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Tirupati respectively. Even your prospects will look better when you are opting to be in the 5-year integrated LLB program since this degree has fewer applicants than the 3-year LLB program. Admission is purely reliant on your category, local quota (AU/SVU/OU), gender reservation and presence of the special quotas like CAP, NCC and Sports.

Best of Luck
