IET Lucknow All Questions

Hello,

IET has kept the closing rank as 64 for MBA finance. For MBA human Source management  the closing rank is also the same.

You may apply for it and give a try. you should go for other government colleges like:-

• Bundelkhand IET
  
• IMS Gaziabad
  

you can opt for any college but IET is a bit difficult to get.

ICCMRT has 3.4 rating which may not be good but may be good also. environment  is as per our thoughts and needs. we have to adjust at every place. May be the  facilities are  not good.

Any way it's your decision.

It might be quite difficult for you to get a seat in Institute of Engineering & Technology,Lucknow as their cutoff is expected to be a bit higher. However there are 50-50% chances that you may get a seat in Institute Cooperative & Corporate Research & Traning,Lucknow as you are almost on the borderline of expected cutoff. Talking about Institute of Co-operative and Corporate Management, Research and Training, Lucknow is a good college. Placements are decent with highest package being aroun 6 LPA and average package around 3-4 LPA with companies like ICICI, Karvy, HDFC, RSPL, Godrej, LIC, etc. visiting the campus for placements.

Your UPSEE rank 1084 is great. You are eligible to get admission in Institute of Engineering and Technology,  Lucknow as you have girl quota. You can get into any branch for Engineering such as

• Computer Science and Engineering 
  
• Information Technology 
• Electronics and Communication Engineering 
• Electrical Engineering 

and many more

Unfortunately, your chances of getting ECE in IET Lucknow with that rank and also considering your category are null to negligible. 

Although you could still stick your hopes to the varied rounds of counseling bit IET being the best college UPTU has to offer, it would be pretty tough shot to catch.

See , their is no need to compare CSE or IT here because both are almost the same and all the companies allow both branches to sit for placement. So they are same from Placements point of view and opportunity point of view.

So the basic comparison now is between GSITS and IET placement opportunities. Basically most of the companies visiting in both the colleges are almost same. But Thier are a few good companies that visit GSITS and not Iet.

Let me mention some companies that visited last year to both campuses.

Wipro, Infosys, TCS , Accenture, Cognizant, Amdocs, Delloite, Musigma, Capgemini, Impetus,Adobe, Snapdeal, Barclays, Cybage, Persistent, Tata technologies, Cappilary.

Now the other companies coming to Sgsits but not to Iet are-

SAP labs, Ittiyam systems,Future first Info solutions.

So you can see Placements at IET are at par with GSITS.

Note- The companies mentioned here have actually been to these colleges last year, intact I have the official placement document of both the colleges with me.

Hi there! I have Gnl rank 77 and Bc rank 18....I too hoping to get IET as far as your concern I think you will get this college easily because not all 191 behind you are going to participate in counselling procedure...I will suggest you to wait till second or further round counselling If not alotted in very first time...Choose the second preference wisely (ICCMRT can be the choice)  and If alotted then choose the option FLOAT...I wish you will get IET Lucknow.
