First of all congrats for securing 13k rank in UPSEE . As per my knowledge students below 5k ranks are eligible for almost all top branches for IET till last round(it will be little tough if you are from general category) . So you have very less chance of securing good course in 2nd round of counselling while in spot round or last round counselling you may get some lower branch :)

I am assuming you a general candidate (for reserved category it will be much easier)

HRH the prince of wales Institute of Engineering and Technology is a government /public college established in 1927 is a renowned institute for persuing technical course and has upheld the name from a very long time. Also the fee for the course is also lesser as compared to other institutes.

If you are from either of the CSE, IT or ECE branches. The percentage of placement is really high. If you are opting for the core branches in this college, be prepared to do a great lot of hard work, because there’s hardly any placement. But, you need not be disappointed at this point at all. Graduates from this college have really made it to PSUs and the central and the state engineering services, and that too in large numbers. Placements are good. on an average it is 3-4 lakhs and with good skills and experience it can go upto 7-8 lakhs.

the main advantage for iet lucknow is the location so that you will have access to coachings the reason why this college has got selections in psu through gate,iit for mtech,iim by cat and upsc

hostels are average and placements are decent with the likes of tcs,wipro,infosys

labs and fest are good with the building of new auditorium

Your UPSEE OBC rank 2289 is great, but sorry to say still there are less chance for you to get in Institute of Engineering and Technology , Lucknow. neither in computer science and ECE according last year cutoff

You can try for other branch such as Chemical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering

As per your UPSEE rank yes you will surely get admission into Institute of Engineering and Technology Lucknow. I also suggest you to visit the official UPSEE website and check previous year cutoff ranking for various colleges under UPTU. You may not get preferred branch in IET due to number of applicants having better rank than you.
