The college infrastructure is average. Since it comes under Pune University, the campus and the table chairs available are outdated, and the classrooms are a bit small compared to the number of students in each class
The college curriculum was not very up to date when I passed in 2019. It was outdated. In Banking and Finance specialization they were still teaching "Functions of NABARD" so yeah Academics were not that great
The college has amazing placements considering B.com. The college has various companies on Campus such as Deloitte, EY, HSFC and many more. Average package could be around 3.5-4 lakhs and if you're good enough you can get more than this
The college is definitely value for money. Compared to it's fees of 1 lakh for 3 years when you take Hons, the avg placements is 3.5-4 lakhs per year so definitely it is value for money. Definitely would recommend this college
Since, the college inbuilt hostels are mostly for NRIs and foreigners, the campus life is not that good because the campus is a bit small but trust me, the vibe that the college has is amazing. I had some of the best days of my life in this college
The college is one of the best in India for your undergraduate. College provides good exposure, the crowd is also decent. I would definitely recommend this college to you. I wish I could go back and relive the time I spent there again
The college needs to work on its infrastructure as the facilities are so limited and very little work on the extra curricular. For someone who wants to engage in different areas like sports or dance or other such activities they might not be satisfied with the college facilities.
Academic is very strong of this college and keeps up to date with the course also provides various opportunities for students to enhance their other skills. A student who is willing to bag different opportunities in academics, Learn different courses etc. would for sure get such opportunities here.
Placement record is amazing and gives the student an opportunity to bag good job offers if they work hard. There are various companies that come every year and a student who is willing to start their career with a big firm can apply for placements.
Totally value for money as the course is not highly priced like in other colleges that demand huge amount of fees. So I can say that the college is for sure value for its money. As they offer good academics and good placement opportunities for students at little college fees.
The campus life is not very happening as the area is very limited and there is not much to do. The campus is not too and doesn’t offer much inside the campus however the college is built in a good happening area and not in some isolated part so the nearby areas of the college have some good hanging out spots and other facilities.
Overall this college is a good option if you wanna get ahead in academic and is very serious about that. However, If you wanna be someone who wants to play sports or enjoy the campus life then the college might disappoint you. The college has good student crowd frok all around the world and also gives the student enough time of the day to engage in other activities or internships or anything the student likes.
The building has a decent infrastructure and provides all necessary facilities, including a well-maintained cafeteria that offers affordable and healthy options. However, in comparison to neighboring colleges, the campus feels relatively compact.
I had an incredible academic experience thanks to the exceptional teachers who provided invaluable support and guidance throughout my studies. Their expertise and dedication were truly remarkable, making my learning journey truly exceptional.
The placements suffer from inadequate quality and lack of training, resulting in low average packages and placement ratios. Though companies do participate, students are not provided with proper training for placements.
it is value for money.
good campus life
Choose wisely the placement is not good.
The college campus is clean and has the necessary facilities. The campus is a little small as compared to college campuses in general. The classes are spacious. The canteen is the best part of the college.Overall its good.
The teachers are pretty good. Their teaching is enough for exam. We dont have to take extra classes or tuitions. Sufficient study material is also provided. The teachers are regular and the syllabus is finished on time.
Placements are outstanding. Almost every senior i know got placed with pretty good packages. A lot of top commerce companies came to our college, including 3 out of the Big Four like Deloitte, EY, Barclays, DE Shaw, etc.
I feel the fees is a little too high for this college.
The campus is pretty small.
The institute building is very old. The seating capacity of classrooms is limited as comapred to the number of students admitted to a division. This leads to queues in the classrooms which discourages children from attending lecrures.
The quality of teaching is good. Teachers are experienced. Although the course curriculum is updated every 3 years, the curriculum lacks practically relevance to some extent. But teachers provide appropriate notes required to prepare for the exam and don't burden with a number of books which are not required to be studied.
Placements are good for commerce students in comparison to arts students. Reputed companies like deloitte, credit suisse hire from campus. Placement opportunities for arts students are limited or close to none.
The annual fees is approximately 25k for both BCom and BA. If you are opting for honors additional 25k needs to be paid annually in the 2nd ajd 3rd year.
The campus life is not so encouraging as campus area is limited. Also, there is no sports facility inside campus.
Symbiosis is located in Shicajinagar which is at the heart of pune city. Accomodation is easily available in 1-2 km radius. Quality of teaching is good, hygienic food is provided and peer group is also good. The campus life and curriculum aspect are not at par.
It had all the necessary infrastructure and facility , it was a great experience all togather to be a part of such an institutions. All basic amenities were provided to us and the hygienic condition was definitely praise worthy.
It had great faculties, which impacted on your overall development and the curriculum was upto date and it gets updated every year with the lattest amendment. Well, it does mot make us job ready but create a ground work for sure.
The placements were good Though it would have been more it basically focusses on the finance aspect were the marketing jobs are lacking and it required to be implemented for all sort of students as this would help in career prospects.
Definitely a value for money, considering you utilise all the facilities provided by the institution and take active part in all togather which help a lot for the overall development as a students from all the fields.
Yes, we have the necessary infrastructure, we have smart boards, wifi and all the things that a today's education institute should have. The living spaces are very hygienic, the college is very strict in following the covid protocols.
I am pursuing B.com with Hons in banking and finance, the quality of teaching and learning is very good, yes I think is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes, I think banking and finance would sure make me a job ready candidate
Placements are pretty good, 7.7L per annum, currently the highest package. Average salary maybe around in the range of 4.5-5.5 L per annum. The quality of the placement is pretty much good, it would had been superb if there was no covid scenario.
College is for sure value for money. My course along with honours is around 45k for the whole year.
I am sorry to say, but there's isn't much of campus life. They organise many events, sessions for the students. The teachers, staff are very friendly and good. The location is very good, it's just next to the main road.
In this 3 years, I collected many memories which I will cherish my whole life.
Our college has an average infrastructure as it was founded very early before the foundation of Symbi was set up all over the city. I feel it could be made more better. Nevertheless the location is absolute cherry in the pie. The student life of that area is amazing.
I studied B.Com from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. And it provides immense exposure through its curriculum. The teachers are good and helpful and they always go out of their way to impart knowledge.
Placements at Symbol are amazing for any graduate. Many big brands become a part of our placement process and there is immense opportunity for a B.Com graduate to become a part of a renowned company. The placement drive which is conducted is diverse depending upon the courses offered
According to me it is a value for money, as it provided a great exposure and an excellent student diversity, the fees for the course is kept minimal looking at the current market scenario.
The campus life is amazing. Thanks to the diverse student crowd who come from all over the world to share their diverse experiences and out of the box ideas.
The college infrastructure is great. Everything is updated with technology. They've also made sure of a clean and hygienic environment. There are smart boards, library, canteen, hostel , gym, student help desk etc.
The students don't usually attend college and so most of the teachers either come late or do not come at all. On of my teachers, for instance, covered only three lectures in the entire semester. This was what upsetted me because the subject he teaches is my weak link.
I've only heard of the placements and I've heard only good about them. One of the passed out is a close relative who shared the information. The college has a renowned brand name because of its great placements, one could always google it.
Bcom is just for 50,000 something if you've got admission on merit. Graduation is really economic and not biased. Complete value for money.
There are a lot of activities that happen in the college all the time.
It has it's plus and minus points but it's a great college still.
There are some hygiene issues with the food provided in the canteen, however the same was promptly resolved. The Campus doesn't have any open WiFi facility for the students. however they have installed smart screening for teachings.
The curriculum of the college is very good as compared to the other colleges in term of Syallbus coverage and course material, however in some topics the I found that the course was not updated as there were certain amendments have been introduced bt they didn't form part of the curriculum.
The placement cell team is very hard working and symbiosis has always been able to attract the big corporates for the placements. Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, Credit Suisse, ICICI bank, and many more. These are the examples of the corporates came for campus placement.
Studying in symbiosis has brought some positive changes in my personality, my thinking and overall. So it's definitely value for money and worth it.
Campus life is good as the teachers very friendly in nature and alwys rdy to explain any ambiguity
Being symbion it's my pleasure sharing some facts and aspects about the culture and social life around the campus and it's definitely a value addition for all of us.
