The use of facilities loosens up as you go higher through your semester. Even if there are projectors installed in the classroom they were hardly used during tbe whole course of work. But college does have a good subsidize price of the canteen.
College does have a good curriculum to follow but it is not followed as it should go on. As a whole they teach you how to add numbers but expect you to learn scientific calculations by your own. There are teachers who guide well but there are some does not have idea what the subject is all about.
However i guess through contacts our college gets good amount of placements recruiters. The majority goes for the big tech IT industries like the Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and many more. The highest of the packages went to 30lpa to Cisco.
There are many additional fees that they take after even paying a total of 36000 per year. They are not worth when they are not even providing the basic amenities that a hostel should have. The teachers are not well trained to train students to a perfect career path.
There are event, symposiums and many other tech and non tech events that the college offers. But if a student wants a bigger picture of it then he/she might get interested in the events that the main campus holds of it.
If the college gets a knowledge based panel to guide students according to the coursework and show them the approach then all of them would be facing irrelevant problems throughout the college life. It can become a good college.
It's kinda good college when you compare with most of them and has a good value for money with good placements record overall it's a good college with good campus life and overall facilities being at main campus is a plus point
Teachers aren't that good as you have to learn everything on your own and also focus on latest technology and trends in the world overall good place to learn but it has to be self learning they can only guide.
Placement is better than most of top universities during my academic year we have a good 95% placement in computer science department and overall placement is good with exceptions in civil and mechanical
2lakh and above per year college fee and if you stay in hostel than its sums up to 3.5-4 lakh anually it is higher than most of the college but value for money is good because mainly everything that matters is placement
Life is better outside campus I stayed only one year at campus which was good food is an issue but I got to learn it's has improved a lot in coming year I spent most of my time staying outside campus .
Good college for Engineering related study as the placements is good campus life is good though there are lack of some quality faculties as most of them are new grads and recruits who just teach what's necessary for exams
Infrastructure is good enough compared to other private colleges. It has all the required by a student all the size of the campus is smaller compared to the main campus. In the end all depends on individual perception
Academics is completely dependent on the individual otherwise there are multiple tests which makes sure that your academics is strong. This makes sure that the academics is strong and there are many technical feasts.
Placement season is when srm shows its power lot of companies comes for recruitment and if you have good verbal and aptitude ability surely you will get placed. All companies from startups to Microsoft and Amazon come for recruitment it all depends upon the caliber of the student.
Placement gives you the value for money. The money is almost equal to every other private institutions in India which does not provide good placement . If you are not getting into any nits then srm can be your best option in private colleges.
Campus life is average. There are not much cultural events like in the srm ktr campus but it depends all upon your expectations don't keep too high expectations for campus life it's average most of the focus is on academics.
College experience mostly depends on your companions mostly and your interests. In perspective for quality of education and the placement. Srm is the best option available in private institutions for placement.
Srm ramapuram campus comes with pretty decent infrastructure. You cant say that the infrastructure is wow buy still you can be happy .Coming to ktr campus there the infrastructure is awesome. You will love it.
Srm Ramapuram comes with good academics.Teachers are quite supportive. It is up to you how much you can do well here.Teachers can only show you the road, walking on that depends upon you.you can never complain about academics here.
Srm ramapuram comes with excellent placement record. Currently i asked some seniours of my college ,everyone said that you dont need to worry about the placements here.Just you should concentrate on your soft skills.
Srm ramapuram campus is value for money. It provides you the most important thing that is placements.Everything can be considered but if placement is not good for a college it is not value for money.Srm is value for money.
Srm ramapuram has a decent campus life .You cant say it as brilliant beacuse sports facilities of this college is lacking.Rest we have everything.we cannot complain about orlther things here as college provides all other things.
I am happy studying in Srm ramapuram. You can do well here if you want to and you can become worse alse if you want to.having good soft skills will help you getting a good job.you work hard here surely you will succeed
(1) Collage infrastructure is good and is quite fairly equipped. (2) Collage mess is also decent. (3) Labs are well equipped with latest equipments. (4) The campus is green and eco - friendly. (5) The campus is clean and hygienic.
I was a student of B. Tech - Information Technology during the academic year 2014 - 2018. The curriculam was good enough and we were more focused on practical applications rather than just lurning the theories. It is one of the best platform to explore yourself.
The quality of placements is too good, in our batch, more than 95% of students got placed. The salary package starts from 3 LPA and goes upto 30 LPA depending on the individual skills. University offers the students to sit for multiple companies, until they are placed.
The course cost was around 1.5 LPA and it was a course for four years. Apart from tution fees, your own expenses will range from 10k to 15k per month (depending on the individual). Apart from this, there will be minimal book fees and examination fees.
Campus Life is great, you can enjoy a lot. Campus also focuses on maintaining the diversity. You will find people from different regions under one roof which also gives you a lot of exposure to learn.
Yes the college has all the necessary infrastructure, wifi, etc, yes the food and the living space are hygiene. The class rooms are good and the sports centers and the library journal are really good .
Good Teaching and Teachers are really helping on curriculum. The curriculum is updated and it helps me in placement. We are more in practical and get more info knowledge by making mistakes and we learn from that.
Good Number if companies are coming in different domains. Many good companies are coming on regular basis. And maximum number if students get good placement with good package. Cts, tcs, l&T and many more.
Yes it's worth.
Good and location wise and student support and staff's support are amazing.
Good institution.. Highly recommend for our dreamful careers.
Yes College Infrastructure is very very impressive. It construction of buildings are good. Smarts boards are available in every classes. Laboratories are also very well equipped of instruments. Library is also available for students to study in quite surrounding. The living place is clean and foods are averagely hygienic.
I am currently studying B.Tech in Computer Engineering in this college. Because I want to become a Computer Engineer in big companies like Google, amazon, Microsoft etc. The quality of teaching is very perfect for those students who are searching college for computer engineering in private.
The best thing about private colleges is that it gives good placements to students. In my college also placements are very much impressive. Big companies like Google, Facebook, amazon, etc comes to recruit students every year. Highest package goes very high that is about 25 to 30 lakhs per annum. College is very supportive in the case of placements.
Everything thing is acceptable in private colleges except their Fees. My course that in Computer science costs about 2 lakhs per annum excluding Hostel fee and Mess Fee. Their charges are also very high. No I don't think I am getting my money's worth.
Campus life is pretty enjoyable in SRM University. Its best features are that it has about every games and sports you can play there. The students come from all corners of India , they all are supportive. The professors and administration is also somewhat supportive to students. The location is best for this college and it is safe also.
Overall I recommend this college to all students go for it. But one thing is there, those who are from middle class family , you should think twice before taking admission because this college is very expensive.
All ober the college is well and good but there is slight negativity in the food provided in the hostels. Eithere the food is too dilute or tasteless and above that there is very less coordination among the management people.
Academics is all over ok...but there is less co ordination between the faculties and some of them even dont make the students understand the subjects in a good way. There is a lack of breisf explaination of the topics.
Placements are good but we as a student dont get the perfect guidelines about the methods and categories of the placements and companies. We do get placements training classes but those are actually boring to attend
per year the couse costs 2 lacs and book and cdc fees cost 35k. yes i do feel good as we get the facilities that are worth the price.
al kinds of festivals are celebrated and there is a group named Campus Life which co ordinates with the students and come uo and organise cultural events and food festivals for the contatnt entertainment and engagements of the students.
Nothing would i like to add expect to improve the co ordination among faculties and management systems all.over the campus.
